AGM Note N1 Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
AGM Note N1 Overview
AGM Note N1 - boring cloning
The Chinese company AGM is difficult to attribute to the leaders of the industry, but the corporation was able to sell several million secure smartphones, which received the approval of critics and users. Unfortunately, these phones still did not become bestsellers and did not bring the planned profit to the developer. Because of this, the manufacturer had to tighten their belts and start producing devices without protection from dust and moisture. However, the novelty turned out to be actually a complete clone of the models on the market (Blackview Oscal C80, Oukitel C32 and others).
The appearance of the phablet is competitive in the low price category. The attractiveness of the design is achieved through beautiful rear panels with a dual camera unit and a pleasant polycarbonate texture, a side fingerprint sensor. The display bezels are hard to miss, but their thickness is far from critical, it does not cause negative emotions. The 6.52-inch IPS screen deserves a good rating. There's no such thing as improved picture clarity at HD+ resolution, but a smooth 90Hz refresh rate with fairly realistic rendering and nearly 600 nits of brightness will please most buyers.
Specifications are standard for the value segment. The UNISOC Tiger T606 CPU has already managed to visit dozens of analogues at a similar price. 8GB of RAM and the MaliG57-MC1 video core allow the chipset to demonstrate good performance in benchmarks (about 200 thousand points in AnTuTu). The processor is enough for everyday activities, the Android 13 interface rarely upsets with slowdowns and friezes, instant messengers and browsers function without visible problems. But you should not expect outstanding gaming capabilities from an inexpensive gadget. Play resource-demanding games, if possible, then with minimal graphic presets and without smooth gameplay. As for the size of the permanent memory, it was 128GB, it can be expanded with MicroSD cards.
The 50- and 2-megapixel photomodules are unlikely to be suitable for creating photographic masterpieces, but they will often be used for capturing documents, daytime shots and similar scenarios that do not require much from optics. The single speaker is also far from perfect. There is almost no bass, but the volume is decent, you definitely won’t miss a call. The addition of NFC contactless payments could significantly increase the relevance of the device and improve its functionality, but for some reason it was decided to abandon them. As a result, the device does not have real competitive advantages and is simply lost in the abundance of similar alternatives.
