Meizu M6 Note Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Meizu M6 Note Overview
Meizu M6 Note - perfect comfort
All increasing phablet popularity is understandable. Easy web-surfing, watching movies, less strain on the eyes - it is only a part of the list of advantages of big phones. However, advantages need to be developed by complementing them with new ones. And the Chinese company Meizu understands this fact.
The hero of today's review definitely moved forward in terms of a design compared with its predecessors. A metal body has become even thinner and curved glass of a display along with smooth side faces enhances the positive perception of the novelty. Screen size (5 and a half inches), its manufacturing technology (IPS-OGS) and resolution (FullHD) remained unchanged, but at the same time, brightness and contrast levels are now much higher, allowing to call the used panel one of the best in a class.
In terms of "hardware", the unit also has undergone drastic changes. The newest Snapdragon 625 processor surprises with an excellent balance of game power and energy efficiency, and 3/4GB of RAM and a Adreno 506 video card successfully help him to achieve great results in benchmarks and demanding applications. Volume of ROM in 32/64GB can be complemented by a MicroSD-card.
Thanks to the excellent 12-megapixel Sony IMX362 and 5-megapixel Samsung 2L7 cameras the device can be called a camera phone. Yes, the photomodule has not an optical image stabilization, but within frames of the price category it won't have so many competitors. There are no problems with battery life also. It is a little merit of an optimized, modified FlymeOS based on Android Nougat OS, but the main culprit is, of course, a capacious 4000mAh battery. Add to the gadget a fingerprint scanner, support for 4G and OTG that has already become familiar, an oleophobic coating of the stunning IPS-panel, perfect 16-megapixel front photocamera, and we actually get the perfect device capable for many years to become a reliable assistant in any situation.
