Motorola Moto G100 Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Motorola Moto G100 Overview
Motorola Moto G100 - conquering the global market
The Motorola company is still far from leadership positions, however, the corporation's efforts to increase the audience are visible to the naked eye. So, the firm decided to recall the recent hit of its competitor, Xiaomi PocoPhone F1, and develop a more modern and advanced version with the same emphasis on performance and affordable price. Will the hero of today's review be able to increase the popularity of his creator?
The designers tried to do everything possible to make the appearance of the novelty both inexpensive to manufacture and attractive at the same time. A beautiful block of four cameras, bright colors of the rear panels, a fingerprint sensor placed on the side edge, small display frames with a 16-megapixel selfie camera look decent and stylish. And even plastic as a material for the construction of the case does not greatly affect the impression of the exterior. The savings can be seen on the screen. Instead of an AMOLED panel, a cheaper OGS display with FullHD + resolution is used. The brightness and contrast of the IPS-screen do not boggle the imagination, but the good detailing of the picture, coupled with its refresh rate of 90hertz, noticeably transform the displayed content.
The technical characteristics are incredibly good for a device at the turn of the middle and high price segments. The latest Qualcomm Snapdragon870processor is an "overclocked" version of the 865th chip, which means brilliant performance of any demanding games with maximum graphics presets. 6GB / 8GB ofRAM and the Adreno 650 video adapter also contribute to the gaming power of the CPU. The cooling system is not the most efficient, but the heating of the bundle and the throttling performance do not exceed reasonable limits. It is worth noting the decent autonomy of the device at the level of 8-10 hours of active screen time. This result is due to the 5000mAh battery. It's a pity that its charging speed is limited to 20W (almost an hour and a half from 0 to 100%).
The photographic capabilities of the main cameras are by no means modest, although the phablet is far from being called a camera phone. While the auxiliary ToF and portrait sensors are installed more for beauty, then the main 64-megapixel module from Omnivision and the 16-megapixel wide-angle lens will help to capture hundreds of detailed and natural day and night photos. NFC and Android 11 contactless payments complete the list of advantages of a technological device without serious disadvantages.
