Realme GT Neo 6 SE Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Realme GT Neo 6 SE Overview
Realme GT Neo 6 SE is a fantastic smartphone
The Chinese company Realme is trying with all its might to snatch market leadership from its opponents. Sometimes, to achieve this goal, a manufacturer produces phones that are so first-class for their price segment that you wonder if the developer is working at a disadvantage? The hero of today's review evokes precisely such emotions, because he simply has no shortcomings within the price category.
The appearance of the new product is very successful. Firstly, the buyer will definitely like the frameless display around the entire perimeter, and secondly, the design of the rear panel made of high-quality polycarbonate turned out to be stylish and interesting, and the current block of photomodules will not disappoint. The AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2780x1264 pixels combines excellent image clarity, its smoothness at a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a decent, albeit not record-breaking, brightness reserve of 1600 nits. Also on the positive side, the AMOLED screen has a built-in optical fingerprint scanner and the presence of an oleophobic coating even on the included protective film.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor, 8GB/12GB/16GB RAM and Adreno 732 video accelerator are the technical characteristics that every budget-conscious gamer dreams of. The bundle effortlessly scores about one and a half million points in the AnTuTu benchmark, which indicates extremely high performance. All demanding games are played at maximum graphic settings, while the framerate is stable and approaches 60FPS. The energy efficiency of the chipset cannot be criticized either. Add to this fact a 5500mAh battery and you get about 9-10 hours of active screen time. There is no saving on charging power (100W), so you need to stay at the outlet for less than 25 minutes. Internal storage is allocated 256/512/1024GB in UFS 4.0 format.
The main photo modules are a high-quality 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 sensor with hybrid stabilization and a simple 8-megapixel wide-angle camera. Their photographic capabilities are sufficient even for evening shooting; frames taken in poor lighting are not filled with noise and are pleasing with detail and color rendition. Stereo sound is spot on, the speakers do not disappoint with volume and frequency response balance. Of course, there would be support for 5G and NFC. Unfortunately, a global version of the device is not yet planned, so you will have to come to terms with the lack of FDD-LTE B7 (deterioration of 4G networks in Europe and the CIS countries), as well as a number of untranslated application services. But these are small things compared to the countless advantages of this brilliant gadget.
