Vivo X200 Pro Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Vivo X200 Pro Overview
Vivo X200 Pro - flight to new heights
The flagship smartphones of the Chinese company Vivo are becoming more competitive and technologically advanced every year. If a few years ago only rare fans of mobile electronics knew about high-price segment phones from the developer, today bloggers and journalists around the world compare the photo capabilities, performance and functionality of devices with the best analogues. The hero of today's review claims to be a leader in many respects.
The appearance of the new product continues the design concept of its predecessor. The familiar massive block of photo modules and the shape of the glass and metal body are still pleasing to the eye, the unusual textures of the rear panels, a truly frameless display with an accurate under-screen fingerprint scanner add to the attractiveness of the exterior. The 6.78-inch AMOLED screen has become even more beautiful. The brightness reserve is close to 3000 nits, the resolution of 3216x1440 pixels provides excellent picture clarity, which is complemented by smoothness at a refresh rate of 120 hertz. Of course, it could not do without realistic color reproduction and an excellent oleophobic coating.
The technical characteristics were the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 CPU, 12/16GB of RAM and the Adreno 760 video adapter. The combination exceeds the previous top-end solution by about 20% both in benchmark results (more than 2,500,000 points in the AnTuTu test) and in energy efficiency. All modern games function flawlessly at maximum graphic presets; even Genshin Impact and Fortnite are not included in the list of exceptions. And the device increasingly runs for a couple of days on a 5500mAh battery. Wired charging with a power of 100W is adjacent to a wireless alternative of 50W. It will not be possible to expand the permanent memory, but it’s hardly worth being upset about this fact if you have 256/512/1024GB of ROM.
The main 50-megapixel Sony LYT900 module, a pair of telephoto lenses (3x and 5x Zoom) and a wide-angle lens of the same 50 megapixels raise the bar of photographic capabilities to heights previously unseen in the manufacturer’s products. The cameras capture detailed pictures and videos in 8K resolution in literally any lighting conditions; the amount of noise and blur is small even with the increased dynamics of the events taking place. Stereo sound, NFC contactless payments, support for 5G networks, full protection from dust and moisture according to IP68 standards expand the list of advantages, which distracts from the only critical disadvantage - the lack of a global version of the device. However, it's easy to overlook some of the untranslated app services on such a high-tech and reasonably priced phablet.
