Vivo X90 Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Vivo X90 Overview
Vivo X90 - the basic version of a flawless smartphone
The Chinese company Vivo unspeakably pleases its fans with the flagship phones of the X-line. Even its most affordable representatives incredibly combine top-end performance, innovative design, and dozens of other competitive advantages that analogues twice as expensive will envy. The hero of today's review has not changed the traditions of the series. The only pity is that we can not wait for the global configuration of the device.
The appearance of the novelty is remembered at first sight. Really beautiful colors of tempered glass back panels, brutal metal edging, original camera unit, display with minimal bezels and built-in fingerprint scanner will be positively appreciated by sophisticated connoisseurs of beauty. The 6.78-inch AMOLED screen received an increased resolution of 2800x1260 pixels, an excellent 120 Hz refresh rate and, of course, realistic color reproduction. Even ordinary web surfing will give the user a lot of pleasure.
The specifications are outstanding. The latest MediaTek Dimensity 9200 CPU, along with 8/12GB RAM and the innovative Mali Immortalis-G715 MC11 GPU, not only supports the newfangled ray tracing technology, but also provides record-breaking benchmark results, smooth gameplay at maximum graphics presets in any game. The power consumption of the processor is low, so the 4810mAh battery is almost always enough for a day and a half of working with the device. Fast charging at 120W reduces the time spent at the outlet to an obscenely modest 20 minutes. Variations of the gadget with 128/256/512GB of ROM are presented, the last two have UFS 4.0 memory format.
The main photomodules are a 50-megapixel Sony IMX866 sensor and a 12-megapixel telephoto lens (2x zoom) and a wide-angle module. Optical stabilization, well-developed software and high-quality lenses bring the device to the rank of camera phones that are not afraid of night shooting and capturing moving objects. The stereo sound is loud, rich, it is extremely difficult to find fault with it. Support for 5G networks and NFC, splash protection (IP64) and a generally rational price tag are additional advantages that help not to be distracted by the lack of FDD-LTE B20 and not fully translated software. Phablet clearly deserves close attention.
