Motorola Edge 30 Fusion Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Motorola Edge 30 Fusion Overview
Motorola Edge 30 Fusion - contender for success
The world-famous Motorola Corporation has decided to seriously update the Edge-line of flagship smartphones. Now it includes both excellent expensive phones and excellent models with a more affordable price tag. This is exactly what the hero of today's review is, pleasing with both technical characteristics and photo capabilities.
The design of the novelty turned out to be quite modern and attractive, although not without some flaws. So, the back panel is made of plastic, which had a positive effect on the cost of the phablet, but not on its resistance to scratches. On the other hand, it is simply impossible to find fault with the beauty of the triple camera and the 6.55-inch AMOLED display that goes to the side faces, and the colors that are pleasing to the eye are simply impossible. The quality of the displayed image is very high due to the combination of a resolution of 2400x1080 pixels, excellent brightness and contrast ratios, and competent color reproduction settings. The 144-Hz refresh rate for a smooth picture deserves special praise. The accuracy and responsiveness of the in-screen fingerprint sensor do not upset either.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ processor (8GB RAM, Adreno 660 video accelerator) is still a great choice even for a sophisticated gamer. Although the developer failed to completely defeat the heating of the chipset, the throttling values are uncritical and have almost no effect on the smoothness of the gameplay even in such titles as Fortnite, Diablo Immortal and Genshin Impact. At the same time, graphic presets can be safely set to the maximum level. Of course, top performance is noticeable in everyday life by the speed of opening applications, and by the absence of micro-lags in the Android 12 interface. The internal memory is not expandable, so we recommend choosing the latter option from 128/256GB of ROM.
The main 50-, 8- and 2-megapixel photosensors are headed by the increasingly popular Omnivision OV50A, which is endowed with both a hybrid stabilization system and high-quality lenses. As a result, we get wonderful pictures even in the evening. Most of the details are preserved, and the amount of noise does not spoil the impression of photos and video files. Stereo sound is present, there are no significant problems with loudness or frequency response uniformity. There are NFC contactless payments, but there is no wireless charging, as well as moisture protection. A little frustrating is the battery, the capacity of which has reached only 4400 mAh. You will have to charge the mobile assistant about once a day, but the charging power is 68W. Thus, minor flaws and some traces of the manufacturer's savings do not worsen the device, which is excellent for the price segment.
