Samsung Galaxy F54 Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Samsung Galaxy F54 Overview
Samsung Galaxy F54 - what should be an inexpensive smartphone
The first mid-range phones from the Korean company Samsung evoked mixed emotions even among loyal fans of the corporation, but in just a few years the manufacturer was able to make them not only competitive, but even better than many opponents. So, the hero of the review offers impressive functionality and insane autonomy for its affordable price tag.
The design of the gadget is not bad, but boring. The minimalistic back panel is adorned with only a modest three-camera array. It's made from a glossy plastic that picks up scratches and fingerprints quickly, so a protective case is highly recommended. Too bad it's not included. Although the front surface is covered by 85% AMOLED display, the fingerprint sensor is placed on the side face to improve the accuracy of work. The 6.7-inch AMOLED screen is not truly frameless, but the picture it displays is good. The current FullHD + resolution, 120 Hz image refresh rate, the ability to calibrate color reproduction, a large margin of brightness are the main advantages of the AMOLED panel, but its minus is the considerable PWM effect, due to which some users will feel discomfort in the eyes.
The technical characteristics were the proprietary Exynos 1380 CPU, 8GB of RAM and the Mali G68MP5 video core. The chipset is far from the most successful in terms of heating and energy efficiency, however, it is gaining its 500 thousand in the AnTuTu test, smooth gameplay of almost all modern games is guaranteed. Only the most resource-intensive projects like Fortnite or Honkai: Star Rail will require lowering the graphic presets to low-medium. Although the case heats up, it does not burn the palm, and a 6000 mAh battery will help you not to remember where the nearest outlet is located for a couple of days. At the same time, the indicator of hours of screen time reaches 9-10. A 256GB version of permanent memory is available to the buyer, while it is allowed to expand it with MicroSD cards.
It is unlikely that lovers of high-quality mobile photography will be delighted with 8 and 2-megapixel auxiliary modules, but a 108-megapixel photo sensor with optical stabilization will definitely please them. High detailing of photos and videos is provided both during the day and in the evening. A small amount of noise and blurring can be found only in night shots. But there is no stereo sound, which is very strange. The only speaker is simply not able to provide the same volume and volume. As for the advantages of the device, you can add NFC contactless payment and support for 5G networks to their list. The phablet is balanced in every aspect, for which it is easy to forgive minor flaws.
