The IQOO line of smartphones from the Chinese company Vivo has always been warmly received by lovers of mobile electronics. Almost every representative offered excellent performance, excellent functionality and decent autonomy. Unfortunately, the phones were mostly intended for the domestic market, so their buyers from Europe and the CIS countries had to come to terms with uninstallable services for China, the lack of a number of 4G frequencies and other problems. But it’s clearly worth it if we’re talking about the hero of today’s review.

The appearance of the new product continues the design concept of its predecessors, which is expressed in the familiar colors of the cases, similar to the block of three photomodules. However, the display frames are narrower, improving the ergonomics of a thinner all-in-one glass and metal unit. The fingerprint sensor is housed in a 6.78-inch screen. The AMOLED panel used is not much inferior to analogues in premium-segment devices. There is an impressive resolution of 2800x1260 pixels, a current image refresh rate of 144Hz, and a brightness reserve of 1700 nits sufficient for direct sunlight. Color reproduction is correct, the touch panel is extremely responsive.

Of course, it couldn’t do without advanced technical characteristics. The latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU, 12GB/16GB RAM, Adreno 750 video adapter reach the two million score mark in the popular AnTuTu benchmark, easily providing maximum graphics presets in all existing games. Of course, such impressive power also has a positive effect on the performance of the Android 14 operating system and the speed of launching applications. At the same time, the chipset does not suffer from mediocre energy efficiency, because the 5000 mAh battery regularly provides about 7-8 hours of active screen time. The battery is ready to boast fast wired charging (120W). Of course, there is no saving on the amount of permanent memory (256/512/1024GB UFS 4.0 format).

The photographic capabilities of the main 50-megapixel (OmniVision OV50H main module with hybrid stabilization and wide-angle lens), 64-megapixel (telephoto lens with 3x zoom) cameras have seriously advanced. This fact is especially noticeable in evening photographs and videos. There is less blurring of small and moving objects, and the amount of noise has decreased. Stereo sound has also undergone changes, now it is louder and more saturated. NFC contactless payments and support for 5G networks have also not disappeared. Only moisture protection according to IP68 standards has not appeared, but the reasonable price tag pays for all the small shortcomings of a wonderful, albeit hard-to-find device.
