The Chinese company AGM, specializing in the production of secure smartphones, disappeared from radars about one and a half to two years ago. After the successful flagship X3, the corporation created a number of highly controversial models that did not find much response from the audience. Did the developer cope with the problems that arose and can the hero of today's review become more successful than most of his predecessors? It seems that the answer will be rather negative.

The design of the novelty can be both praised and criticized. The rear panel looks attractive due to the original combination of polycarbonate and rubber elements, as well as beautiful orange inserts and a triple camera block. The fingerprint scanner, although located at the back, looks harmoniously with other aspects of the exterior. The front of the device is noticeably simpler. The huge display frames reveal the budget orientation of the gadget, while the thickness demonstrates protection against dust and moisture according to IP68 standards. The 5.7-inch IPS-screen does not amaze the imagination with both the resolution ( 1440x720 pixels) and the brightness and contrast parameters. Above and below the OGS panel are the stereo speaker grids. The sound is loud and of high quality, it becomes one of the few competitive advantages of an Android phone.

The technical characteristics are not surprising. In the value category, there are also more productive solutions than the Unisoc Tiger T310 processor, 4GB of RAM and the PowerVR GT7200 video accelerator. If you evaluate the chipset from the point of view of an ordinary user, but it copes well with the Android 11 interface, visible lags and slowdowns of the shell are rare. But gamers will not be able to enjoy the most demanding games even with low graphics presets. The slideshow launched in the same Genshin Impact will be unplayable. The volume of internal memory is 64GB , if necessary, the ROM is expanded with MicroSD cards .

The device is definitely not worth buying for the sake of high-quality photo or video shooting. Installed 12 and 2-megapixel photo modules can be used to capture text, documents, static objects in good lighting conditions. Mediocre lenses, lack of optical stabilization and simply inexpensive sensors do not allow counting on the detailing of images in the evening or at night, and the amount of noise will go off scale. But the autonomy is worthy of compliments. The 5400mAh battery will last for a couple of days of using an Android smartphone without any compromise. Another advantage of the unit will be NFC contactless payments. However, not the most humane price tag and a bunch of problems in the IPS panel and performance are unlikely to contribute to the sales of the phone.
