Releasing a cheaper version of a popular product often brings good profits to electronics manufacturers. However, the developer needs to have the relevant experience so that simplifications of the device are not critical for new buyers. Unfortunately, the Chinese company AGM has crossed the line after which the desire to reduce costs leads to failure.

The appearance of the new product is virtually identical to that of its predecessor. IP68 moisture protection has been preserved, although impact resistance is still questionable, the design of the main photo module and the beautiful gray color of the case make a pleasant impression. But the wide frames of the 10.36-inch IPS display are noticeably disappointing. The IPS panel used has a resolution of 2000x1200 pixels, which is decent for a diagonal, and realistic color rendition. However, the brightness level, which is not always sufficient for the street, remains on the list of shortcomings.

The technical specifications are very ambiguous. The MediaTek Helio G99 processor and Mali G57MC2 video adapter are in place, so the performance of Android 13 does not raise any questions. But the RAM has been reduced from 8 GB to 4 GB, so not only the number of simultaneously running applications has suffered, but also the performance of games. Resource-intensive projects like Genshin Impact or Fortnite can simply crash to the desktop in the middle of the gameplay. Autonomy is not bad due to the energy efficiency of the chipset and a 7000 mAh battery. The battery is stable for a day and a half, and there is also a fast charge with a power of 18 W. The internal storage is now 128 GB, but there is a slot for MicroSD cards. A serious downgrade was the removal of support for 4G and SIM cards. But for many users, this function was one of the reasons for purchasing the device. The photo capabilities of the main 8-megapixel camera and 5-megapixel selfie module are basic, it is recommended to use them for video communication in daylight. Their additional advantages include the presence of a light sensor (auto brightness), a reduced price tag. However, all the positive qualities of the tablet are still not enough to justify its numerous disadvantages.
