The flagship phablets of the American company Apple have always been among the most technologically advanced, functional and optimized in their price segment. And although the top smartphones of the brand have gradually gained a significant number of opponents from China, no one has yet managed to snatch the crown from them. The situation with the hero of today's review has not changed either.

The appearance of the new product has retained the signature features of its predecessors. These include a beautiful triple camera unit, and a glass and metal case shape. Of course, the colors of the monoblocks and even thinner display frames are pleasing to the eye. Water protection according to IP68 standards has not disappeared anywhere. The 6.9-inch OLED display with a resolution of 2868x1320 pixels is characterized by a literally flawless picture with stunning detail, natural color rendition and excellent visibility even in direct sunlight. Of course, the screen is not without a very effective oleophobic coating, 120 Hz refresh rate.

The technical characteristics are the latest A18 CPU with a Pro index, 8 GB of RAM. If the result in AnTuTu is typical for this class of chipsets (more than two million points), but in the Geekbench test the results are close to record-breaking. The performance in games is the highest. Diablo Immortal, Fortnite, Zenless Zone Zero - the list of projects that function perfectly with maximum graphic presets can be continued for a very long time. At the same time, energy efficiency is also at its best. From a 4676 mAh battery, it is easy to get up to a couple of days of active use of the device. Wired charging, unfortunately, is still slow (25 W), but its wireless alternative has the same power. 256/512/1024 GB of permanent memory are allocated.

Of course, the photo capabilities are beyond reproach. The high-tech main 48-megapixel sensor and 12MP telephoto lens with five-fold optical zoom are equipped with hybrid stabilization and easily cope with the most difficult shooting scenarios. Moving distant objects and poor lighting will not be a problem for the photo modules. The wide-angle 48MP lens is not far behind. Stereo sound is excellent. The speakers guarantee loud, rich sound with clearly audible bass. Support for NFC, 5G and eSIM, an error-free facial recognition system for the gadget owner add to the list of its advantages and turn it into another hit from a well-known developer. The device is expensive, but at the same time it works out the price by 200%.
