Blackview A55 Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Blackview A55 Overview
Blackview A55 - smartphone not for 2022
The market for Android smartphones is constantly changing, and the demands of users are increasing. This fact is especially noticeable at the request of users for phones of a low price segment. Unfortunately, the Chinese company Blackview does not fully realize the need to improve budget devices, not only in terms of design, but also their functionality. That is why the hero of today's review is unlikely to make his way to commercial success.
The design of the novelty is controversial. The triple photomodules copy that of the flagship Apple iPhone, the colors of the cases do not disappoint, but the rest of the exterior is mediocre. The bezels are wide, there is no fingerprint sensor, and the 5-megapixel selfie camera has an outdated form factor. A 6.53-inch IPS display is standard for low-budget gadgets. It lacks brightness in direct sunlight, and it will not be a big problem to see individual pixels at a resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels.
The specifications are also out of date. Even from inexpensive devices today I want to get something more than a bundle of a low-performance Mediatek Helio A22 CPU, 3GB of RAM and a PowerVR GE 8300 video adapter. start up with noticeable lags. Minimal graphics presets do not help in this situation. But at least the autonomy of an Android phone is okay. The 4780mAh battery guarantees 8-9 hours of active screen time, although its charging speed leaves much to be desired. There is not enough internal memory, but 16GB of ROM can really be expanded with MicroSD cards , however, it is possible to store music, photos, videos on them, but not applications.
The main 8- and 0.3-megapixel photosensors look stylish, but their photo capabilities do not go beyond capturing text documents. It is not worth hoping for successful landscapes or portraits even during the day, the impression of the pictures will be spoiled by noise and poor detail. NFC contactless payments are not provided, and there is no stereo sound with a USB Type-C port. Thus, we have before us a too simplified device, the performance and functions of which are not enough for normal operation today.
