The Chinese company Blackview some time ago set out to expand the range of smartphones at the turn of the lower and middle price segments. The A90 model turned out to be extremely balanced and inexpensive, which affected its popularity. And even though the phone did not become a worldwide hit, the manufacturer liked the level of sales, so a little later, similar devices simply fell from under the company's conveyor. One of these is the hero of today's review.

The appearance of the novelty is not satisfactory, taking into account the price tag of the phablet. The display bezels are wide at the top and bottom, but quite reasonable on the sides, the fingerprint sensor is moved to a metal-styled edging of the case, the camera unit repeats that of Apple products. But the 8- megapixel selfie camera is located at the top of the screen in the form of a “drop” straight from 2019. The developer did not stint on a whole scattering of colors for devices, but saved on manufacturing materials. The applied plastic, although it looks beautiful, has a glossy texture and is quickly scratched. The 6.53-inch OGS-display does not set records for image clarity. This is a standard IPS-panel with a resolution of 1600x720 pixels for the price category, but it is difficult to express claims in terms of brightness and contrast.

The same words apply to technical specifications. The Mediatek Helio P70 is far from a new chipset, but the impressive 8GB of RAM and the Mali G72MP3 video adapter make it more relevant. Everyday work with browsers, instant messengers and just the Android 11 interface will do without lags and slowdowns, and you can relax even in a number of fairly resource-intensive games with minimal graphics presets. This is a good result for a budget Android smartphone. Fans of autonomous mobile assistants will be delighted with the 4380mAh battery. You will only have to charge such a battery once every one and a half days. Surprisingly, there are no savings on internal storage, which is brought up to almost the flagship 128GB with the possibility of expanding with MicroSD cards .

There is no need to put high hopes on the main 20- and 2-megapixel cameras. These are simple photosensors, the capabilities of which are limited to daytime shots in clear weather or document capture. Other shooting scenarios will require patience and skill. The gadget is deprived of stereo sound, as well as a headphone jack, NFC contactless payments, but the simplifications are explained by the price of the device. Thus, the considered Android phone more than deserves attention due to its functionality, affordable price and the absence of critical disadvantages.
