The Chinese company Blackview has recently begun to pursue a much more aggressive policy towards direct opponents. The corporation tries to either work ahead of the curve or respond almost instantly to the actions of competitors. Thus, the hero of today’s review is one of the first flagship smartphones that will delight the buyer with both the latest chipset from Mediatek and protection against dust and moisture according to IP68 standards.

The appearance of the new product still reveals that it is a secure phone. Although the display frames are thinner, and the 8-megapixel selfie camera is now installed at the top of the screen, the impressive thickness of the body, coupled with rubberized elements, somewhat degrades the impression of the exterior. But the design of the two cameras is quite modern, the additional IPS display is impressive (displaying notifications, time, media player, help in taking selfies, etc.), and the location of the fingerprint scanner on the side is very convenient. The 6.78-inch OGS display is quite ordinary for the price segment. The developer did not skimp on the increased image refresh rate (120Hz), but the brightness and contrast parameters are far from record levels, although partial image visibility is maintained even in summer sunlight. But the resolution of 2460 x 1080 pixels can be praised.

The technical characteristics are much more pleasing. The powerful Mediatek Dimensity 7050 processor scores 520,000 points in the Antutu benchmark. It is not surprising that the CPU, together with 12GB of RAM and the Mali G68-MC4 video accelerator, guarantees smooth operation of any resource-intensive games with maximum graphics presets. The chip's 6Nm process technology indicates its low heat and good energy efficiency. From an 8800mAh battery you can expect about 3-4 days of active use of the phablet. The size of the internal storage is not satisfactory. 512GB of ROM will be enough for most users; the gadget also has a slot for MicroSD cards.

The main 50- and 8-megapixel photo modules, led by the Samsung GN5 sensor, do not turn the device into a full-fledged camera phone. Of course, high-quality daytime photographs will be an easy job even for a novice mobile photographer, but getting frame detail and natural color rendition in the evening is much more difficult. Fans of contactless payments will positively appreciate the presence of NFC; other advantages of the device are Android 13 and 5G support. Thus, the device combines performance, autonomy and decent functionality, without being intimidating with an inflated price.
