The Chinese company Blackview owes much of its fame to waterproof phones. However, over the past few years, the corporation's products have not undergone major changes in ergonomics, design and performance. That is why the advantages familiar to the manufacturer's gadgets do not look so advantageous today. Will the hero of today's review be able to at least partially change the current situation?

The appearance of the novelty will obviously not be attributed to its strengths. Protection against dust and moisture according to IP68 standards, as well as the use of a huge 13000mAh battery (15+ hours of active screen time, 33W fast charging) negatively affected the dimensions of the device. The thickness of 2 cm, wide screen bezels and a huge weight of almost half a kilogram make the device relevant exclusively for the male part of the population, and even with good physical fitness. A side fingerprint scanner, a triple photomodule and a pretty rubberized body texture, unfortunately, do not correct the situation. The 6.58-inch IPS screen is not to be criticized because of its modern FullHD + resolution and a good margin of brightness for most lighting conditions. But the display does not have an increased refresh rate of the picture.

The specs aren't gaming-friendly, but they're sufficient to smoothly play the Android 12 interface and launch apps almost instantly. The MediaTek Helio G85 CPU, 6GB of RAM and the Mali G52-MC2 GPU are capable of running undemanding games like World Of Tanks Blitz or PUBG, but their power is not enough for the really resource-intensive Genshin Impact or Alien Isolation. But the energy efficiency of the chipset will make you forget about looking for sockets for a long 4-5 days. The size of the internal storage has reached 128GB, expandable with microSD cards.

The main cameras are represented by a 13-megapixel Sony IMX362 main sensor without optical stabilization, an 8-megapixel wide-angle module and a 0.3-megapixel portrait lens. These photomodules are suitable for daytime photography, but they do not succeed at all in complex shooting scenarios. Videos in 2K resolution are also mediocre in detail and smoothness. There is no stereo sound, but the only speaker provides rich and rich sound. NFC contactless payments also complete the list of advantages. However, the significant disadvantages of the Android phone will not bring it to the rank of commercially successful models.
