Blackview BV9300 Pro Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Blackview BV9300 Pro Overview
Blackview BV9300 Pro - spot improvements to the hit
The Chinese company Blackview never ceases to expand the range of devices it sells, but with a limited budget, making new products from scratch is very difficult. That is why the developer often refines its successful products and releases them to the market again. The hero of today's review has received the Pro-index and is ready to please the buyer with a number of additional advantages. But will they be enough for repeated success?
The appearance of the device, of course, is controversial, because this is not the most expensive phone with water protection according to IP68 standards. The case is characterized by excessive dimensions and huge screen frames, but the exterior also has positive aspects in the form of a camera block, the original outlines of the rear panel, and the rubberized texture of the device that is pleasant to the touch. A second 1.3-inch IPS display has appeared, which is designed for notifications, answering calls, displaying the player interface and other functionality. The main 6.7-inch IPS panel has a balanced resolution of 2400x1080 pixels, a flagship 120 Hz picture refresh rate, but is slightly disappointing with the level of maximum brightness. Direct sunlight significantly reduces the visibility of the content being played.
Technical characteristics are difficult to criticize, but the combination of a MediaTek Helio G99 CPU, 12GB of RAM and a Mali G57MC2 video adapter has become too common and therefore boring. The performance of the used processor will eliminate visible stutters in the Android 13 OS; most of the application will launch instantly and have smooth scrolling. However, gamers are unlikely to be delighted with the chipset. Resource-intensive game projects like Fortnite are not without freezes and lags, regardless of the graphics settings. But in terms of autonomy, the phablet is capable of outperforming almost all opponents. The 15080 mAh battery will provide more than 15 hours of active screen time; complaints can only be expressed regarding the fast charging power. Still, 33W is frankly not enough for such a capacity; you will have to leave the gadget at the outlet almost all night. As for the amount of permanent memory, the immodest 256GB can always be increased with MicroSD cards.
Photo capabilities have advanced compared to those of its predecessor. The 64-megapixel Samsung GW3 photosensor copes better with both daytime and evening shooting than the previously used 50-megapixel analogue. True, the lack of optical stabilization still has a negative impact on shots taken in poor lighting. Noises and blurs will make themselves felt. The volume of the only speaker with an impressive diameter is not enough, and the bass is quite audible. NFC contactless payments are present, and as a bonus there is a separate powerful flashlight on the top edge. Thus, if you don’t need the new features and improved cameras, then it’s easier to purchase the previous model at a more affordable price tag.
