Blackview BV9300 Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Blackview BV9300 Overview
Blackview BV9300 - a step in the wrong direction?
The Chinese company Blackview does not forget to update its flagships, however, the top smartphones of not the largest manufacturer still noticeably lag behind the market leaders in terms of performance and other parameters. Unfortunately, things don't get better with time. The hero of today's review is a clear confirmation of this, because its improvements against the background of its predecessors cannot always be called as such.
The appearance of the gadget is unlikely to please everyone, because we have a huge rubberized monoblock with moisture protection according to IP68 standards. The dimensions of the novelty turned out to be so impressive also because of the use of the battery as much as 15080mAh. On the one hand, it's nice to charge the battery only once every 4-5 days, on the other hand, the whole device is close to crazy 500 grams, and it needs to be at the outlet for up to five hours. The thick bezels of the display worsen the impression of the exterior, which the interesting texture of the back panel, the triple camera unit and the side fingerprint scanner are trying to save. The 6.7-inch IPS screen left more positive emotions. The combination of FullHD + resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and well-tuned color reproduction will not cause problems for most buyers. However, I would like to see already AMOLED panels in the developer's products.
Specifications are not amazing. The MediaTek Helio G99 processor is gradually losing relevance and even coupled with 12GB of RAM is no longer able to demonstrate smooth playback of all games. The resource-hungry Genshin Impact is only available at low graphic presets, fresh demanding projects will also require a significant reduction in graphics settings. There are far fewer problems in daily work. The Android 13 interface is responsive and fast, messengers, social networking applications, browsers open instantly, and function without lags. The amount of internal memory has been increased to 256GB, while there is also the possibility of its expansion.
The photo capabilities of the main cameras cannot be attributed to the advantages of the device. 50-, 8- and 2-megapixel modules, headed by an inexpensive Samsung JN1 sensor, give in to evening and night shooting. Optical stabilization could significantly reduce the amount of noise and blurring, as well as increase the detail of such shots, but it is missing. As a result, we are satisfied with exclusively daytime photo shoots of not very dynamic objects. There is no stereo sound, but there is no need to complain about the volume level and the balance of the frequency response of a single speaker. But the lack of a wired headphone jack is surprising given the size of the phone. Among the advantages, we also note NFC contactless payments, a real laser rangefinder and a powerful LED flashlight. Thus, before us is not the most technologically advanced and ergonomic representative of the price category.
