Blackview Fort 200 Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Blackview Fort 200 Overview
Blackview Fort 200 - Several Pros, Numerous Cons
The Chinese company Blackview continues to release dozens of new smartphones, which sometimes affects their quality. It's not just that the phones fall apart in your hands or that they don't last as long as their warranty period, but that their technical specifications match the asking price, ergonomics, and other important user parameters. Thus, the subject of today's review raises numerous questions across virtually every aspect.
The new device's appearance is striking, but far from perfect. While there are interesting back panel colors with a unique texture and a beautiful photo module, the screen bezels are enormous, and the rubberized case could be thinner, even with the device's IP68 water resistance. The 6.78-inch IPS display boasts a FullHD+ resolution, so it's difficult to find fault with the image clarity. It also has an excellent 120Hz refresh rate and natural color reproduction. However, the peak brightness of 700 nits is low by today's standards. Direct sunlight reduces image visibility by 70-80%.
The MediaTek Helio G100 processor, 12GB of RAM, and Mali G57-MC2 GPU are a combination that has become frankly tiresome over the past few years. 400,000 points in AnTuTu indicate that the performance is barely sufficient for stable playback of Android 16. All more or less modern resource-intensive games suffer from stuttering even at minimum graphics settings. It's hard to consider this device a gaming device by any stretch of the imagination. Battery life isn't impressive either. The 5000mAh battery provides approximately 8-9 hours of active screen time. A nice bonus is the 15W wireless charging, which complements the wired 33W charger. Storage is 256GB, and there's a microSD card slot.
The photography capabilities, as is typical for devices of this class, are modest. The only auxiliary module is a 13-megapixel night vision sensor, which you're unlikely to use often. The main 108-megapixel Samsung sensor without optical image stabilization is suitable for daytime photography, but any more challenging shooting conditions result in a loss of detail and artifacts. There's no stereo sound, the single speaker isn't loud, and the frequency response isn't particularly balanced. There's also no 5G support. Thankfully, NFC contactless payments are still included. Therefore, the device is a bit too controversial given the vast number of competitors at a similar price.
