Blackview N6000SE Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Blackview N6000SE Overview
Blackview N6000SE is not the most optimal downgrade
The original N6000 smartphone from the Chinese company Blackview found many fans thanks to its combination of durability, functionality, compact dimensions and reasonable price. But for some reason, the manufacturer decided that releasing a simplified version of the phone with a lower price tag would be a great idea. Unfortunately, the balance of the previously mentioned qualities of the device was lost.
The appearance of the new product differs little from that of the previous model, which in general cannot be considered an advantage. The main problem with the exterior is the huge display frames, which distract from the strengths of the design, such as the stylish dual photo module and side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The 4.3-inch IPS screen is characterized by excellent picture clarity with a resolution of 1200x540 pixels; there are no significant problems with image color rendition. But the brightness reserve of 500 nits is still small for comfortable work with the gadget in direct sunlight.
The technical specifications are now somewhat simpler. The MediaTek MT8788 processor, 4GB of RAM and Mali G72MP3 still cope with the Android 13 interface, almost completely freeing it from lag. The situation with gaming capabilities is worse, because truly resource-intensive projects like Fortnite will be inaccessible to gamers even with minimal graphics settings. But less demanding games like World Of Tanks Blitz or PUBG Mobile will be available with a stable framerate. The battery capacity is slightly reduced, but 3700 mAh is enough for 7-8 hours of active screen time. It’s a pity that the charging power is reduced to a modest 10W; the device will have to be left at the outlet all night. The size of the internal storage is no longer satisfactory, because 128GB of ROM can always be increased with MicroSD cards.
The main 13- and 0.3-megapixel cameras do not offer decent photographic capabilities, so you can only hope for more or less detailed shots without excess noise in daylight and completely static objects. Otherwise, the photographs will not please you. There is no stereo sound, and with just one installed speaker you can count on trouble-free reception of calls and notifications, but not on pleasant listening to your favorite music. As for the advantages of the gadget, you can definitely add support for NFC contactless payments. As a result, we have before us an extremely unique device with protection from dust and moisture according to IP68 standards, instead of which it is better to purchase a more technologically advanced predecessor with an almost similar price.
