The Oscal-line of smartphones from the Chinese company Blackview has been aimed at the lower price segment since its inception. However, a significant number of phones in the series were too low-functional and even with a modest price tag did not find many fans. But it seems that such a situation will not happen with the hero of today's review.

The appearance of the device is difficult to criticize. The developer adorned the gadget with a stylish dual camera, a modern side fingerprint scanner, and did not forget about the actual body colors. Although the eight-megapixel selfie camera has an outdated form factor, the rather thin bezels of the screen help to overlook this fact. Although the device is made mainly of plastic, it slowly collects scratches, does not creak, and there are no backlashes either. The 6.5-inch IPS display produces a bright and rich picture. The HD+ resolution is a little let down, which often makes small fonts look blurry, but the IPS panel is equipped with a 90-Hz refresh rate that is rare for the price category.

The technical specifications presented by the UNISOC Tiger T606 CPU, 8GB of RAM and the Mali G57-MC1 video core do not upset either. Of course, this is not a full-fledged gaming bundle, but it’s quite possible to get more than comfortable gameplay in not particularly demanding PUBG or Call Of Duty. In addition, the chipset is energy efficient, so the 5180mAh battery will usually last for two days. There is also fast charging with a power of 18W, so you won’t have to stay at the outlet for a long time. The ROM size was 128GB while maintaining the slot for MicroSD cards.

The 50- and 2-megapixel main cameras are topped by the popular budget Samsung JN1 module, whose photo capabilities are very wide during daytime shooting. Detailing and color reproduction of shots taken in good light are unquestionable, there are even the beginnings of evening photography thanks to a special mode in the photosensor software. However, do not rely on flagship photos without noise and blurring. Unfortunately, the phablet was not without obvious disadvantages. So, there is no stereo sound, and NFC contactless payments, Android 12 sometimes frustrates with untranslated menu items and some applications. But the democratic price of an Android smartphone allows you to close your eyes to its imperfection and recommend the device for purchase.
