Cubot J10 Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Cubot J10 Overview
Cubot J10 - we don't need such a compact
The average screen size of a smartphone has grown significantly over the past few years, as progress has made it possible to get rid of display bezels even in relatively inexpensive phones. As a result, the user gets the opportunity to more convenient and enjoyable web surfing, watching videos and other operations while maintaining the ergonomics of the mobile assistant. However, part of the audience still wants to get a compact Android smartphone. It is at her that the hero of today's review is aimed, although the dimensions have become, in fact, his only competitive advantage.
The appearance of the novelty is extremely outdated. The IPS display, which is as far as possible from framelessness, a single camera module, the absence of a fingerprint scanner and cheap plastic are unacceptable today even in a low cost category. The 4-inch IPS-screen of a modest resolution of 854 x 480 pixels is not encouraging either. It is more or less comfortable to work with such an IPS panel only in the evening or in room lighting, direct rays completely nullify the visibility of the displayed content.
The choice of technical characteristics is controversial. Only 32GB ofROM and a slot for MicroSD cards deserve praise, reducing the likelihood of a lack of memory for data storage. The Spreadtrum (Unisoc) SC7731E processor, coupled with only 1GB ofRAM and the ancient Mali 400MP2 video accelerator, barely pulls out the Android 11 Go Edition interface, so gamers will have access to mainly two-dimensional non-resource-intensive games. The energy efficiency of the CPU does not shine, which, together with a 2350mAh battery, grows into only five hours of active screen time from a single charge. But the battery is replaceable, the idea of buying a spare one with such autonomy does not seem stupid.
The main 5-megapixel and front -facing 2-megapixel cameras are installed only for beauty, if it is possible to call it such in the case of the gadget in question. With a certain skill, the buyer will be able to capture the text with such photomodules, but no more. There is no 4G support, as well as NFC contactless payment. Thus, the device is frustrating in virtually every aspect. It is worth adding quite a bit of cash to get a much more stylish and functional counterpart.
