Selling a new smartphone to a sophisticated audience today is not so easy, even for an experienced manufacturer. The user, regardless of the price category, expects to see a decent design, wide functionality, and a couple of interesting competitive advantages in the purchased gadget. The hero of today's review generally meets such demands, but sometimes he is ahead of his opponents in too unexpected and even controversial places.

The appearance of the new product deserves the highest praise. The display frames are minimal, the back panels are endowed with an attractive texture, made of high-quality polycarbonate, and are ready to boast a stylish block of photomodules. The AMOLED screen hides a fingerprint scanner under its glass. The quality of the image it outputs is high thanks to the combination of a resolution of 2408x1080 pixels, a 120-Hz image refresh rate, natural color reproduction and a good brightness reserve of 1500 nits. The oleophobic coating is also not forgotten.

The technical characteristics selected are the MediaTek Helio G99 CPU, the Mali G57MC2 video chip and as much as 16GB of RAM. This amount of RAM looks impressive, however, it is excessive for the processor used. The bundle gets about 400 thousand points in the AnTuTu test; most resource-intensive games are workable, but at low graphic settings. Autonomy does not disappoint, because the 5100 mAh battery provides about 8-9 hours of active screen time. Fast charging at 33W is far from a record, but you won’t have to stay at a power outlet or power bank for long. Internal storage allocated 256GB. If it is not enough, then one of the SIM cards can be replaced with a MicroSD card.

The main 100-megapixel photo module from OmniVision is complemented by a fairly high-quality 16-megapixel wide-angle sensor and a 5-megapixel macro camera. As a result, the photographic capabilities are superior to those of its closest competitors; the detailing of daytime and even some evening photographs is not satisfactory. But they saved on stereo sound, as well as on a separate headphone jack. Thank God that contactless NFC payments, as well as the software version (Android 14), did not come under the knife. Thus, the gadget has every chance of becoming popular not only among the developer’s fans.
