Doogee Blade 10 Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
DOOGEE Blade 10 Overview
DOOGEE Blade 10 - simple but interesting
The most inexpensive smartphones protected from dust and moisture according to the IP68 standard rarely offer balanced models. Usually, the desire of the developer to contain the rise in costs leads to phones that are unattractive in appearance and not at all high-tech, but the hero of today’s review in some aspects became an exception to this rule.
The appearance of the new product can be called stylish. Of course, moisture protection has led to a noticeable increase in the display frames, but the neat camera unit, which almost does not protrude from the rubberized body, and the very beautiful carbon texture of the rear panel allow the exterior to stand out against the background of monotonous analogues. The 6.56-inch IPS screen has HD+ resolution, so you shouldn’t count on first-class image clarity, but for the price category the IPS panel has excellent smoothness (picture refresh rate is 90Hz) and realistic color reproduction. The brightness reserve of 550 nits also does not cause any particular complaints.
Technical characteristics are the most popular UNISOC Tiger T606 processor, 4GB of RAM and Mali G57 MC1 video adapter. The performance of the Android 14 interface is decent, lags are rare, non-resource-intensive applications like instant messengers or galleries launch in a matter of seconds. Gaming capabilities are limited, but you wouldn’t expect anything else from a device in the low-cost segment. Call Of Duty Mobile or World Of Tanks Blitz work stably, but the demanding Genshin Impact or Fortnite resemble a slideshow. 128GB of permanent memory is allocated, a MicroSD slot is present for its expansion. The autonomy provided by the 5150mAh battery is not bad, although not record-breaking. You can hope for 8-9 hours of active screen time, but the charging power is a modest 10W, so you will have to stay at the outlet for a very long time.
The photo capabilities of the main photo modules are basic. A simple 16-megapixel main sensor and virtually two useless 0.3-megapixel auxiliary modules are ready to capture a document or a static daytime frame, but any complication of the scenario turns the photo into an abundance of blur, noise and other artifacts. Of course, there is no stereo sound; the manufacturer also saved money on the fingerprint scanner. But NFC contactless payments have been retained, making it very easy to pay with the device in hypermarkets. Thus, we have before us far from the worst device for the money, devoid of serious disadvantages.
