Doogee FIRE 6 Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
DOOGEE FIRE 6 Overview
DOOGEE FIRE 6 - a fiery offer?
The Chinese company Doogee decided not to stop and continues to present new models. Especially many protected smartphones, which are aimed at various price segments, are presented in this half of the year. The hero of today's review is able to fight back a large number of representatives of the low cost category due to excellent autonomy and an unexpected competitive advantage.
The appearance of the new product is unlikely to become a strong point of the device for anyone, but the triple camera unit looks stylish, and the design of the rubberized back panel turned out to be successful. The side fingerprint scanner is also convenient. The thickness of the monoblock is disappointing, it is difficult to operate such a colossus with one hand. The display frames are wide, this looks mediocre in 2024. But the IPS screen itself has a not particularly outstanding HD + resolution for an almost 7-inch diagonal, but at the same time a high 90-Hz refresh rate of the picture, natural color rendition. I would also like to have a brightness reserve exceeding 600 nits. The IPS panel is poorly suited for working with the gadget in direct sunlight.
The UNISOC Tiger T606 processor is an extremely balanced chipset, giving out about 250 thousand points in the AnTuTu benchmark. Of course, it would be impossible to achieve such results without 6 GB of RAM and a Mali G57MC1 video accelerator. The achieved level of performance does not help to successfully launch all existing games, but you can try PUBG Mobile or Call Of Duty with low-medium graphics settings. The bundle also copes with the Android 14 interface. You definitely won’t have to scold the battery, because it received a capacity of 10400 mAh. Sockets or power banks will be needed only after 2-3 days, and the charging process (the device has a power of 18 W) will take about three to four hours. There is no saving on the size of the permanent memory, which reached 256 GB with a slot for MicroSD cards.
The photographic capabilities of the phablet with moisture protection according to IP68 standards are far from perfect. In particular, these words concern the modest auxiliary 8-megapixel wide-angle lens. But the main 50-megapixel sensor, although lacking optical stabilization, is ready to give highly detailed daytime shots. True, in half the cases the photo will be spoiled by noise or blur if the lighting deteriorates. The presence of a full-fledged thermal imager is really amazing. There is no stereo sound, but do not be upset, because even one speaker of an increased diameter provides quite a rich and deep sound. There is also contactless payment NFC, making shopping in hypermarkets easier. As a result, a durable and technological gadget can and even should be recommended for consideration.
