Doogee Blade 10 Pro Energy Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Doogee Blade 10 Pro Energy Overview
Doogee Blade 10 Pro Energy - improved energy efficiency
Releasing the next generation of a popular line of smartphones is not the easiest task even for an experienced developer. Even in six months or a year, the smart phone market takes several steps forward, which is sometimes not easy to keep up with. The Chinese company Doogee has definitely made the hero of today's review better, but still the improvements are not so impressive as to convince the user to buy the device.
The design of the new product may well appeal to the future buyer, although it has many disadvantages. Thus, it is difficult not to notice the lack of a fingerprint scanner, the impressive dimensions of the case, the not very relevant form factor of the 8-megapixel selfie camera, wide display frames. However, the variety of textures of the rear panels, a beautiful camera block, stylish pseudo-metallic elements make the exterior look more modern. The 6.56-inch IPS screen is rather a weak point of the gadget. It can only boast of the smoothness of the image due to the refresh rate of 90 Hz. The color rendering is still good, but the brightness reserve is mediocre by today's standards (about 450 cd / m2), and the clarity of the picture at HD + resolution is also disappointing.
Today, the technical characteristics will not surprise even an inexperienced electronics enthusiast. The UNISOC T615 CPU is only 5-7% more productive than the previously used T606, so its combination with 6 GB of RAM and the Mali G57 MC1 video core scores a modest 260 thousand points in the AnTuTu test. The Android 15 interface functions without significant lags, but applications sometimes launch with a delay, and the gaming capabilities of the chipset are far from excellent. Old 3D games like PUBG Mobile work smoothly, with a stable frame rate, which cannot be said about the latest resource-intensive projects. So the gameplay will already resemble a slide show. The battery capacity is 6150 mAh, it is created using updated silicon-carbon technology, due to which its durability has been increased. It provides about two days of work with the phablet, but the charging power was a ridiculous 10 W. The permanent memory is now 256 GB, so MicroSD cards may not be needed, although the slot for them is preserved.
The predecessor without the Pro index was very bad in terms of photographic capabilities. The successor already has a 50-megapixel main photo module, which is capable of artistic photography, and not just document capture. However, it is highly recommended to take photos in good daylight, otherwise the frames will be spoiled by blurring and noise. The sound still does not surprise with the amount of bass, and there are a lot of distortions in the only speaker at high volume. Contactless NFC payments are present, the shopping process in hypermarkets will be noticeably easier. As a result, we have before us an ordinary inexpensive device with water protection according to IP68 standards, which has dozens of competitors.
