Doogee Blade 10 Ultra Energy Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Doogee Blade 10 Ultra Energy Overview
Doogee Blade 10 Ultra Energy - the disadvantages should be preserved
The updated line of smartphones in the vast majority of cases turns out to be much better than their predecessors, because the manufacturer is interested not only in attracting a new audience, but also in the fact that fans of the brand buy themselves fresh mobile assistants. But the hero of today's review has almost not undergone improvements, while all the shortcomings of the original model remained.
The appearance of the new product can hardly be considered unsuccessful for the price segment. Yes, the phone, protected from dust and moisture according to IP68 standards, has excessive thickness and wide display frames, but the exterior has many advantages. This is a pseudo-transparent texture of the back panel, and a beautiful block of photo modules, and a side fingerprint sensor. But what is upsetting is the 6.56-inch IPS display used. It is no different from the younger representatives of the series, so there is mediocre image clarity at a resolution of 1612x720 pixels, and not always natural color rendition, and frankly low brightness of 450 nits. The only thing you can rejoice at is the 90-Hz image refresh rate.
In technical specifications, the metamorphoses are minimal. The same UNISOC Tiger T615 chipset works with the familiar Mali G57MC1 video adapter and now with 8 GB of RAM. Unfortunately, this is clearly not enough to increase performance. In tests, we see approximately the same results (for example, about 260-270 thousand points in the AnTuTu benchmark), the Android 15 interface without strong lags, but still not too fast. Applications often launch with some pause, and gaming capabilities are extremely limited. You will be able to enjoy only the least resource-intensive 3D projects with reduced graphics settings. The permanent memory is allocated 256 GB, a slot for microSD cards is available. The battery (silicon-carbon) received a capacity of 6150 mAh, that is, the same. You can count on two days of active use similar to its counterparts. The charging power is still 10 W, which is simply ridiculous by today's standards.
The photo capabilities have advanced slightly. If the auxiliary cameras are terrible, but the main 64-megapixel sensor copes with daytime photo sessions more easily and even provides some chance to create detailed evening shots. One speaker is responsible for the sound, it is not particularly loud, the frequency response is unbalanced, increasing the volume leads to serious distortions. NFC contactless payments are in place, at least this point is pleasing. The final impression of the gadget is rather negative, since it has not changed in comparison with previous devices and no longer corresponds to the money requested for it.
