Doogee Blade 20 Pro Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Doogee Blade 20 Pro Overview
Doogee Blade 20 Pro - simple and tasteless?
The Chinese company Doogee simply attacks electronics lovers with a flurry of new products, but it is somehow impossible to single out a large number of worthwhile devices from them. Many phones have obvious shortcomings for their price segment. And, unfortunately, the hero of today's review will not be an exception.
The appearance of the device can be standardly criticized for the enormous dimensions of the rubberized case, the thickness of the display frames. Still, moisture protection according to IP68 standards and increased strength affect the size. But the designers tried to level out the negative emotions from the shortcomings due to the beautiful combination of photo modules and cutouts for a large speaker (peak volume is about 120 decibels), stylish texture of the back panel, side fingerprint scanner, and the current design of the 8-megapixel selfie camera. The installed IPS screen is very low-budget. The 450 nits brightness reserve is not enough to stay with the phablet in direct sunlight, the HD+ resolution cannot organize a decent picture clarity with an almost 7-inch diagonal. Of the positive aspects, only the 90-Hz image refresh rate and more or less correct color rendition stand out.
Technical characteristics similar to those used in the device (UNISOC Tiger T606 chipset, 6 GB of RAM, Mali G57-MC1 video core) can be found in less expensive analogs. The Android 15 interface is free of serious lags, but sometimes it is still thoughtful and unhurried, and the gaming capabilities are as modest as possible. You should simply forget about resource-demanding Genshin Impact or Fortnite, only old 3D projects like PUBG Mobile function stably. But the battery with a capacity of 11800 mAh gives a good reason to praise the autonomy. For 4-5 days, you can simply forget about the sockets. But then the slow charging at 18W will make itself known, you will have to leave the mobile assistant to charge all night. The permanent memory is 256 GB, it can always be expanded with MicroSD cards.
The camera capabilities are far from impressive. The 20-megapixel night vision module is unlikely to be used often, and more popular alternatives like a wide-angle lens or a telephoto lens are missing. The main 50-megapixel sensor without optical stabilization will give highly detailed daytime shots with a small amount of noise and blur, but evening shots will not be so great. The sound is loud, rich, bass is audible, although not a stereo effect. We also note the presence of contactless payments NFC. However, the mediocre screen and performance, as well as simple cameras do not allow us to definitely recommend the gadget for purchase.
