Doogee Blade GT Pro Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Doogee Blade GT Pro Overview
Doogee Blade GT Pro - interesting solutions for an active life
The sophisticated audience of the smartphone market has long ceased to demand only durability from phones protected from dust and moisture according to IP68 standards. Now the average buyer, even in the middle price segment, wants to see the beauty of the design, functionality, autonomy and much more. And it is nice to realize that the hero of today's review from the Chinese company Doogee will be able to offer most of the above.
The appearance of the new product is memorable at first sight. Beautiful LED glyphs, an original triple camera, an attractive texture of the back panel, a side fingerprint scanner and a reasonable thickness of the rubberized case make you pay less attention to the negative aspects of the exterior. The main one is the width of the screen frames, and there are questions about the design of the 32-megapixel selfie camera. The installed 6.72-inch IPS display noticeably lacks maximum brightness. Direct sunlight will have to be avoided. But at the same time, the picture has an optimal resolution of 2400x1080 pixels for the diagonal, and smoothness at a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and everything is not bad with the color rendering.
The technical characteristics include the most popular MediaTek Dimensity 7025 CPU, 12 GB of RAM and an IMG BXM-8-256 video core. The bundle is one of the most affordable in terms of cost among 5G solutions, while it provides performance at the level of 500 thousand points in the AnTuTu test. It is not always easy to notice lags in the Android 14 interface. The situation with games is as follows: the most resource-intensive projects like Honkai: Star Rail will work with low graphic presets. The permanent memory is as much as 512 GB, but no one forbids expanding it with MicroSD cards. The 5800mAh battery is not that huge for an IP68 smartphone, but you won't have to worry about finding a power outlet for about two days. Unfortunately, the fast charging power is limited to a modest 18W.
The photographic capabilities evoke mixed emotions. The auxiliary sensors will be criticized. The 8-megapixel wide-angle lens is frankly weak, and it is better not to use the 2-megapixel macro camera at all. The main 100-megapixel module is ready to take a lot of high-quality daytime photos with an abundance of detail and natural color rendition, but the lack of optical stabilization turns evening shots into a mixture of noise and blur. There is no stereo sound, the only speaker is loud, but there are distortions, the frequency response is uneven. As for NFC contactless payments, it is in the device. The final impression of the gadget under review is rather positive. It is balanced, memorable and relatively inexpensive. What else is needed for success?
