Doogee Blade GT Ultra Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Doogee Blade GT Ultra Overview
Doogee Blade GT Ultra - imperfect, but extremely charismatic
The Chinese company Doogee releases a huge number of smartphones every year, among which there is room for several dozen models protected by IP68 standards. However, most of these devices are quite monotonous and are unlikely to interest a sophisticated user. Fortunately, the hero of today's review does not belong to this category of mobile assistants. Its design is original, and the internal component is not without several competitive advantages.
As noted above, the appearance of the new product is successful. It stands out favorably among the exteriors of its opponents due to its reasonable thickness and a number of LEDs on the back panel that work with notifications and music on. Both the photo module block and the body texture look beautiful. But in front, we are faced with a 6.72-inch IPS display with wide frames and an outdated form factor of a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Why does the developer allow himself such design solutions in 2025? We don't have an answer to this question. The IPS panel itself is good in terms of picture clarity at FullHD+ resolution, its smoothness at a refresh rate of 120 Hz, and there are no complaints about color rendering. But the brightness reserve of 550 nits is frankly weak against the background of AMOLED analogs, which is why it is not always easy to work with the gadget outdoors.
The technical characteristics of the phone have advanced in performance compared to its predecessor. The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, 16 GB of RAM and the Mali G615MC2 graphics core noticeably exceed 600 thousand points in the AnTuTu test, so the buyer will definitely not get bored without modern games. You can immerse yourself in the huge and detailed worlds of Honkai: Star Rail, Genshin Impact with medium graphics settings. They did not save on permanent memory (512 GB), and there is also a slot for MicroSD cards. Autonomy is difficult to seriously criticize, but due to the 5500 mAh battery, it is mediocre for the class of gadgets. You can spend about a day and a half without looking for sockets. There is also a fast charge with a power of 33 W.
Photo capabilities are not considered a strong point of the device. The 5-megapixel wide-angle camera is unlikely to be used often due to poor quality, the main 100-megapixel module does not have optical stabilization, which is why deterioration in lighting conditions or the dynamics of events negatively affect the detail of the pictures. There is no stereo sound, but this drawback is compensated by the volume of the only speaker and the presence of bass. We also note the presence of NFC contactless payments, support for 5G networks, a gyroscope and a modified Android 14. As a result, an ergonomic, stylish and productive device with increased durability can definitely sell in good numbers.
