Doogee Note 58 Pro Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Doogee Note 58 Pro Overview
Doogee Note 58 Pro - a not-so-hopeless smartphone
The Chinese company Doogee is not averse to borrowing ideas from its competitors, unless it comes to obvious plagiarism. The manufacturer especially often likes to use design elements of competitors' flagship devices in its inexpensive products. Thus, the hero of today's review sometimes strongly resembles Apple products. However, it also has a number of interesting advantages that distinguish it from its opponents.
The new product looks decent for its price segment. An attractive block of photo modules like the iPhone, eye-pleasing colors of the cases, on which fingerprints almost do not remain, a side fingerprint scanner, moderate in their thickness display frames do not allow the exterior to be criticized. The 6.75-inch IPS screen, although simple, has smooth content at a 90-Hz refresh rate, natural color rendition. Of course, there were some downsides to contain the cost of the phablet. The resolution of 1600x720 pixels does not imply impressive image clarity, and the brightness reserve is small. If it is comfortable to work with the gadget indoors, then it is problematic to see anything outside in direct sunlight.
The role of technical characteristics is given to the UNISOC Tiger T615 processor, 8 GB of RAM and the Mali G57MC1 video adapter. The bundle helps to get a responsive interface of the updated Android 15 OS, not replete with numerous lags. Delays in launching applications will be noticeable only if the user has previously used an expensive mobile assistant. Gaming capabilities are limited, but not absent. If desired, you can immerse yourself in the gameplay of PUBG Mobile, World Of Tanks Blitz or other projects that are not distinguished by the highest resource intensity. Autonomy is at its best. From a 6250 mAh battery, you can expect more than 10-12 hours of active screen time. They saved on fast charging (10W power), so the device needs to be near a socket all night. However, there is 256 GB of permanent memory, and there is also a slot for MicroSD cards.
Photo capabilities will be the weakest part of the device. The main 16 and 0.3-megapixel cameras, the 8-megapixel front selfie camera are not suitable for artistic photography. This is evident from the low detail of the frames, and from the blurring, and from the presence of noise. But video communication and document capturing are handled without problems. Stereo sound is not provided, music lovers will do without a separate headphone jack. But contactless NFC payments are in place, the process of shopping in a hypermarket is significantly simplified. As a result, we have a cheap, but stylish and functional unit, which lacks only better cameras. It will definitely find its buyer.
