Doogee V Max LR Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Doogee V Max LR Overview
Doogee V Max LR - a phone for professionals
The Chinese company Doogee continues to expand the V-line of its smartphones, aimed at providing decent functionality for the price segment and increased autonomy. The hero of today's review has every chance of appealing to both fans of brutal, durable mobile assistants and specialists who need, for example, a laser rangefinder.
The appearance of the new product is specific. The presence of the previously mentioned device, as well as a large battery, moisture protection according to IP68 standards led to an increase in the size of the device. It is very difficult to operate such a unit with one hand. The screen frames are wide, which also worsens the exterior, but there are also positive aspects. A huge LED panel that acts as a flashlight, an interesting block of photo modules, a beautiful body texture and a side fingerprint scanner will definitely please the eye. With a 6.78-inch IPS display, everything is also ambiguous. Its main drawback is the brightness reserve of 600 nits, which is insufficient for direct sunlight. The resolution of 2460x1080 pixels gives the picture good clarity, and there are no problems with smoothness (120 Hz refresh rate) and color rendition.
The technical characteristics include the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 CPU, 16 GB of RAM, and the Mali G615-MC2 video adapter. The bundle is increasingly used in relatively inexpensive devices, it scores a good 650-700 thousand points in the AnTuTu test, allowing you to enjoy the vast majority of modern games with average graphics presets. Of course, we must praise the energy efficiency of the chipset, because the 20500 mAh battery can really get up to 5-6 days of operation. There is no wireless charging, but there is a wired alternative of 45W. There is no shortage of ROM either. The internal memory capacity has reached 512 GB, there is a slot for MicroSD cards.
The photo capabilities leave mixed emotions. Thus, the 8-megapixel wide-angle module is frankly low-budget and is capable of more or less detailed pictures only in ideal lighting, and the 20-megapixel night vision lens will not be useful to every user. The main 200-megapixel photosensor from Samsung remains. It gives great daytime shots, and copes with artistic shooting in the evening. However, hybrid stabilization would expand its capabilities even further. There is only one speaker, but it is large in diameter, so the sound is rich, loud, bassy. Other advantages include support for 5G networks, NFC, and a gyroscope. Thus, before us is a gadget not for everyone, but it will find its fan.
