And although there are not so many representatives of this category of devices, more and more large manufacturers are trying to impress their fans with just such high-tech flagships. The world-famous Google company did not stand aside. Unfortunately, the phone turned out to be weaker in places than the solutions of opponents.

The appearance of the novelty raises questions. Of course, such design advantages as the original design of the triple camera, high-quality materials of a rather thin body (glass back panel, metal edging), and the presence of the folding mechanism itself fall on one scale. But the bezels of both 5.8 and 7.6-inch displays are prohibitively wide for an expensive device. The AMOLED panels themselves received a resolution of 2092x1080 and 2208x1840 pixels, respectively. The output pictures have a modern 120 Hz refresh rate, the image is bright, saturated, not without clarity, calibrated color reproduction. The main AMOLED display is covered with a special plastic with a protective film, so it should be treated with more care. The fingerprint sensor is side, it is more accurate than its sub-screen counterparts, although it looks not only impressive.

The technical characteristics are the proprietary Tensor G2 processor, 12GB of RAM and the Mali G710 MP7 video core. The bundle is not bad, but it is far from the top Qualcomm Snapdragon or MediaTek Dimensity chipsets. If today literally any task is within the reach of this CPU, it is difficult to predict what will happen next year. Genshin Impact functions smoothly at high graphic presets, but at the maximum, unpleasant jamming is sometimes noticeable. In addition, the energy efficiency of the chip is average. There is also heating during prolonged gameplay or long video shooting, and autonomy in the region of only 6-7 hours of screen time from a 4821 mAh battery. The battery surprises with the low power of wired charging at 30W, but the shortcoming is at least redeemed by its wireless alternative. 256/512GB of permanent memory is allocated, this aspect of the phablet is difficult to criticize.

Do not scold the photo capabilities of the main 48- and 10.8-megapixel (wide-angle sensor and 5x telephoto lens) cameras with optical stabilization. The gadget really comes close to the title of a camera phone and provides detailed and natural pictures and videos without excess noise even in poor lighting conditions. In addition, even dynamic objects do not interfere with a successful photo shoot. Shots with small children or pets will be really clear. Stereo sound is present, its volume reaches that of inexpensive Bluetooth speakers, and the reproduced frequency response is relatively flat. There's NFC contactless payment, the latest Android 13, and even IP68 waterproofing. However, this fact does not mean that the device can be dropped. Still, the applied design is not as strong as we would like. The disadvantages include an overpriced price with not a record performance and problems with the exterior. But devoted fans of the brand are unlikely to pay attention to them and will be happy to join an interesting and technologically advanced mobile assistant.
