Honor X9C Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
HONOR X9C Overview
HONOR X9C - style in every detail
This year, the designers of the Chinese company Honor decided to demonstrate their full potential even in mid-price segment phones. Thus, the hero of today's review is not much different in appearance from expensive flagships, thanks to which it will deserve the attention of all lovers of beauty. And in terms of technical characteristics, the new product is quite competitive.
As noted earlier, it is difficult not to fall in love with the design of the gadget. The thinnest display frames around the entire perimeter, an under-screen fingerprint scanner, a modern design of the camera block, stylish colors of the rear panels do not allow you to believe in the real cost of the device. The almost 7-inch AMOLED screen does not disappoint either. It has everything necessary to please even the most sophisticated user. The impressive clarity of content at a resolution of 2700x1224 pixels is perfectly combined with smoothness at a 120-hertz refresh rate, realistic color rendition and flagship brightness of 4000 nits. We also note the presence of an oleophobic coating.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, 8 GB / 12 GB of RAM and the Adreno 710 video adapter are not the best, but a decent bundle for the price category. The chipset scores around 500 thousand points in the AnTuTu test, so the Android 14 interface is devoid of visible lags. Applications also open in a split second. You won't be bored without modern games, because even Genshin Impact will run smoothly with low-medium graphic presets. The permanent memory can be 256 or 512 GB depending on the configuration. However, it cannot be expanded with MicroSD cards. The energy-efficient CPU improves the already excellent battery life of the 6600mAh battery. You won't have to look for a power outlet for a couple of days. At the same time, there is also a fast charger with a power of 66W.
The phablet also doesn't show any significant savings on photo capabilities. While the 5-megapixel wide-angle lens isn't particularly outstanding, the main 108-megapixel sensor from Samsung has optical stabilization and is suitable even for evening photo shoots. You shouldn't expect a minimum of noise, but the detail of such photos is quite good. But music lovers are unlikely to be delighted by the lack of a separate headphone jack and stereo sound. As for other advantages of the device, we'll add NFC contactless payments and splash protection according to IP65 standards to their list. Thus, we have an extremely balanced and interesting product before us.
