Honor 300 Pro Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Honor 300 Pro Overview
Honor 300 Pro - now definitely a real flagship
The Chinese company Honor improves the price-quality ratio in its smartphones of the middle and high price segments every year. The hero of today's review is actually on the border between the price categories, but its performance, functionality and design are so good that it is very difficult to believe in such a price tag.
The appearance of the new product is more interesting than that of its predecessor. It is difficult not to notice a more stylish block of photo modules, as if turning into a metal frame, other colors of glass rear panels. The display frames with a built-in fingerprint scanner have become even thinner. The 6.78-inch AMOLED screen pleases with an impressive resolution of 2700x1224 pixels, so the image clarity is extremely high. 120 Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of more than 4000 nits, realistic color rendition, extremely responsive touch panel and effective oleophobic coating add to the list of advantages of the AMOLED panel.
The technical characteristics include the most powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU, 12/16 GB of RAM and Adreno 750 video accelerator. This solution is close to the top in all parameters. More than two million points in AnTuTu guarantee phenomenally smooth operation of Android 15 and any gaming applications at maximum graphics settings. The energy efficiency of the processor, coupled with the latest graphite battery with a capacity of 5300 mAh, helps to increase the level of autonomy to ten hours of active screen time and more. Wired charging with a power of 100 W is supplemented by a wireless analog of 80 W. As for the permanent memory, it can be allocated 256/512 GB depending on the configuration.
The photo capabilities of the main 50-megapixel (main sensor and telephoto lens with three-fold optical zoom from Sony, equipped with hybrid stabilization) and 12-megapixel (wide-angle lens) cameras are not far from those of expensive camera phones. The difference is only evident in night shots in the form of more noise. The detail of photos and video files is excellent, there are no problems with color rendition. The stereo sound is loud, voluminous and rich, inexpensive Bluetooth speakers can be left at home. Support for NFC contactless payments, moisture protection according to IP65 standards only emphasize the relevance of the device and its superiority over its competitors.
