Honor 50 Pro Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Honor 50 Pro Overview
Honor 50 Pro are excellent changes?
The flagship smartphones of the Chinese company Honor have always become bestsellers due to their advanced photographic capabilities at a reasonable price and wide functionality. However, not all customers liked the proprietary Kirin processors, the performance of which sometimes suffered significantly due to overheating. The hero of today's review is built on a solution from a completely different manufacturer, which will be another reason to take a closer look at buying a gadget.
The appearance of the new item has changed significantly compared to that of its predecessor; there are a number of important metamorphoses. The 6.72-inch AMOLED screen beautifully transitions to the metal side edges and pleases the eye with a dual selfie camera (32 and 12 megapixel sensors). The block of four cameras has become more massive, its design, although original, is very unusual and even peculiar, but the glass back panel itself looks very expensive and stylish. The AMOLED display is ready to boast not only a fairly accurate sub-screen fingerprint scanner, but also a whole list of other advantages. The developer did not chase the record resolution, which had a positive effect on the autonomy, and 2400x1080 pixels is quite enough for a detailed picture. The brightness and contrast indicators are very high, and the image refresh rate increased to 120Hz is also observed. The comfort of interaction with the phablet is enhanced by the high-quality oleophobic coating of the screen.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G is a worthy choice even for the demanding gamer. The mentioned CPU, together with 8GB of RAM and the Adreno 642L video adapter, also copes with graphics presets close to the maximum in Genshin Impact and PUBG, and provides a reserve of gaming power for the future. The chipset will also be appreciated by ordinary users. The instant responsiveness of the Android 11 interface and any apps is worth looking elsewhere. The chip does not heat up during long resource-intensive operations, because the installed cooling system helps to avoid serious throttling. The volume of internal storage has reached 256GB , there is no microSD card slot.
The main 108- ( main photo module Samsung HM2 ), 8- (wide-angle), 2-megapixel (module for macro photography and portrait lens) cameras turn the device into a full-fledged camera phone. If this achievement is the merit of both a well-developed hybrid stabilization and sophisticated software. Color and detail are retained even when shooting in the evening, and noise reduction is very effective. With a 4000mAh battery, the device reaches eight hours of active screen time with one and a half knocks of use, there is a quick charge of 100W (20-25 minutes from 0% to 100% charge). Of course, the flagship was not left without stereo sound , NFC contactless payments, 5G networks , and support for Google services. As a result, we got an Android smartphone, in which it is difficult to find any flaws.
