Honor 60 Pro Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Honor 60 Pro Overview
Honor 60 Pro - camera phone in theory
The release of the flagship line of smartphones from the Chinese company Honor, which occurred a few months ago, made many users question the competitiveness of the once leading corporation. If the concept of the appearance of the new products was liked by most of the audience, then the photo capabilities and the processor used caused an abundance of questions. The hero of today's review, unfortunately, does not correct the situation.
The design of the device does not change the established formula. Two circles on the rear glass panel contain three photomodules, the frameless display smoothly transitions to the side metal edging around the entire perimeter, which causes only positive emotions. The 50-megapixel front -facing camera will definitely be loved by fans of high-quality selfies, even if its lens is visible in the corner of the 6.78-inch screen. The quality of the AMOLED panel deserves many compliments. The developer decided to bring the resolution to an impressive 2652x1200 pixels, while he did not forget about the excellent contrast and brightness values. Other pleasant additions for the buyer will be a refresh rate of 120 hertz , an effective oleophobic layer and, of course, a correctly working sub-screen fingerprint sensor.
Technical characteristics are standard for the value segment, or even weaker than recognized standards. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 778+ CPU is inferior to the 800 series, although today it is suitable for resource-intensive games and everyday operations, and it is not devoid of energy efficiency. The performance margin for the future is not high. Now the combination of the chipset with 8GB / 12GB of RAM and the Adreno 642L video adapter allows, for example, to dive headlong into the beautiful world of Genshin Impact with maximum graphics presets and at the same time avoid lags. A 4800mAh battery will help you think about sockets and power banks only once a day and a half. However, the problem of autonomy becomes even less likely thanks to the fast charging at 66W. 30 minutes and 100% battery capacity received. 256GB of ROM harmoniously complement all the previously mentioned parameters.
108-, 50- and 2-megapixel photosensors led by Samsung HM2 boast sophisticated software, but not optical stabilization. The photos are endowed with decent detail for a high price category and also realistic color reproduction, but noise is observed in evening shots in a significant amount. There is no separate headphone jack, but loud stereo speakers will still delight music lovers. NFC contactless payments, updated Android 11 and support for 5G networks, as well as Google services bring the device to an attractive state for buying, but there are more interesting alternatives on the market.
