Honor 600 Lite Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Honor 600 Lite Overview
Honor 600 Lite - simplified, but not useless
The main line of smartphones from the Chinese company Honor includes a wide variety of models in various price ranges. The Lite model is the most affordable in the series, but not every generation has been known for its balanced technical specifications and overall relevance. But today's review subject clearly stands out among its many competitors.
The design of the new device more than meets the demands of a modern audience. A neat rectangular block of photo modules with a massive flash sits on a stylish glass panel, available in a variety of colors. The thin screen bezels with a built-in fingerprint scanner and the small notch housing the dual 16MP selfie camera also impress. It is also water-resistant, meeting IP66 standards. Swimming with the device is not recommended, but it can withstand a downpour. The AMOLED display, measuring just over six and a half inches diagonally, boasts an impressive 2600x1200 pixel resolution. In addition to excellent image clarity, it features a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, flagship brightness of 6000 nits, calibrated color reproduction, and even a decent oleophobic coating.
The MediaTek Dimensity 7100 processor is a new chipset designed to strike a balance between performance and energy efficiency. Combined with 8GB/12GB of RAM and a Mali G610-MC2 graphics chip, the CPU scores over 600,000 points in the AnTuTu benchmark, eliminating lag and stutter during normal use of the mobile assistant. Gaming isn't as rosy, but it's still possible to try out all the resource-intensive titles available. However, frame rate stability will often be achieved by significantly reducing graphics settings. Battery life is one of the device's strong points. Optimized Android 16, the chipset's low power consumption, and a massive 6520mAh battery help achieve 10-12 hours of active screen time. Wired charging is 45W, so you'll need to be near a power outlet for quite a while. Internal storage is 128/256GB, with no microSD card slot.
However, they've already skimped on photography. A basic 5-megapixel wide-angle lens sits alongside a main 108-megapixel sensor without optical image stabilization. While photos and videos taken during the day are still detailed, any deterioration in lighting results in noise, blur, and a loss of detail. Stereo speakers are present, but lack bass and volume. However, NFC contactless payments and 5G support are still present. Thus, the device attracts attention with its AMOLED panel, impressive battery, and a number of other competitive advantages that allow some shortcomings to be forgiven.
