Honor GT Pro Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Honor GT Pro Overview
Honor GT Pro - the games are not over
For an increasing number of users, smartphones are becoming substitutes for a huge number of devices. Thus, many people began to consider smart phones as a replacement for game consoles, because today there are dozens and hundreds of different entertainment applications and emulators on the Android OS. However, you can only get the flagship performance of a mobile assistant with the appropriate spending. Or not? The hero of today's review has his own answer to the question posed above.
The appearance of the new product is not the most beautiful even in the middle price segment, but the exterior has many positive aspects. The block of two cameras and the colors of the rear panels have been updated, the display frame is now thinner, and overall ergonomics have improved. However, the case is still made of plastic, which is why the tactile sensations are not as good as they could be. The 6.7-inch AMOLED screen has not changed in terms of picture clarity (similar resolution of 2664x1200 pixels) or its smoothness (refresh rate of 120 Hz), but this fact cannot be considered a disadvantage, because the AMOLED panels of competitors are no better. But the peak brightness of 4500 nits is already commendable, and the color rendition is close to realistic. Of course, there is also a responsive touch panel with a high-quality oleophobic layer.
The technical characteristics include the top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite CPU, 12/16 GB of RAM and the Adreno 830 video adapter. This is the most interesting solution for gamers, providing fantastic FPS at maximum graphic presets in Fortnite, Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, Undecember and many other resource-intensive projects. They saved a bit on the cooling system, which is why throttling is not critical, but noticeable. However, it usually manifests itself only in synthetic tests. What you definitely won’t have to worry about is autonomy. The 7000 mAh battery guarantees about 10 hours of screen time, while the capacity is filled in a reasonable 50 minutes (charging at 100 W). The permanent memory is allocated 256/512/1024 GB of UFS 4.1 format.
The phablet cannot boast of outstanding photographic capabilities, but the 50-megapixel main photo sensor from Sony with hybrid stabilization will help regularly supply social networks with fairly detailed and natural photos and videos. There is no excess noise in 99% of cases. But the wide-angle sensor of 12 MP is rather mediocre, there is no telephoto lens. The stereo sound is loud, but not very balanced. The gadget will not be able to replace an inexpensive Bluetooth speaker. Among the advantages, we note NFC contactless payments, 5G support, incomplete but still useful moisture protection according to IP65 standards. Thus, we have an excellent device for its class, which will definitely find a response from a modern audience.
