Smartphones of the Magic line from the Chinese company Honor have always been loved by critics and enjoyed great popularity among users. Flagship technical characteristics, the best photographic capabilities on the market and an abundance of other advantages turned literally every model into a hit. The hero of today's review will not be an exception. Although it cannot be considered innovative, it is an extremely pleasant flagship of 2024 in all respects.

The appearance of the new product has not changed much. The block of photo modules resembles that of its predecessor, the back panel still pleases with stylish colors and durable tempered glass. The metal edging has not disappeared anywhere, the minimal display frames are in place. The 6.8-inch AMOLED panel surprises not only with its precise under-screen fingerprint scanner, but also with a resolution of 2800x1280 pixels, a current 120 Hz refresh rate, and an incredible 5000 nits of brightness. It is comfortable to work with such a screen even in direct summer sunlight. Of course, it could not do without perfectly calibrated color rendition and an effective oleophobic coating.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor is a top-end solution without a single drawback. Together with 12 GB / 16 GB of RAM and the Adreno 830 video accelerator, it scores more than three million points in the AnTuTu benchmark and achieves instant launch of any applications. All existing games, regardless of their resource intensity, function at maximum graphics settings and demonstrate a frame rate of 60 or more frames per second. At the same time, throttling is insignificant, there is no drop in performance after a couple of hours of gameplay. The energy efficiency of the chipset is good, which, together with the 5850 mAh battery, provides autonomy of one and a half to two days of active use of the mobile assistant. Wired charging received a power of 100 W, wireless - 80 W. Of course, the technological device is not without a large amount of permanent memory of 256/512/1024 GB.

The main 50- (the main module from Omnivision and a wide-angle lens) and 200-megapixel (Samsung HP3 telephoto lens, five-fold optical zoom) are equipped with hybrid stabilization and produce fantastic photos and video files in 8K resolution in any lighting in terms of detail and color rendition. The quality of photo content and the dynamics of events do not affect the quality of the photo content. The stereo sound is loud, voluminous, the bass is audible. The ergonomic gadget also received water protection according to IP68 standards, the developer did not forget about the IR port for controlling household appliances, support for NFC, eSIM and 5G. Thus, the device fully justifies the money requested for it.
