Honor Play 6T Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Honor Play 6T Overview
Honor Play 6T - not reached the desired state
The Chinese company Honor is still well-known not only within the homeland, but more and more controversial devices are being sold from under its conveyor. So, a number of recently released smartphones seem frankly unfinished, as evidenced by the presence of both obvious advantages and a lot of significant shortcomings. An example of such a product is the hero of today's review.
In appearance, the novelty was quite a success. Although the 5-megapixel selfie camera is not placed in the corner of the frameless display, the photo module block is characterized by an up-to-date design, and there was also a convenient side fingerprint sensor. Of course, instead of a scratch-prone plastic back panel, I would like to see glass, but this change would entail a significant increase in the price of the gadget. The 6.74-inch screen is created using IPS technology. The 90Hz refresh rate of the picture looks more than competitive, however, opponents with AMOLED panels provide a greater margin of brightness, and sometimes even better image clarity, since in this case the resolution was only 1600x720 pixels ..
Specifications - rather a plus phablet. Not bad for the price category, the Mediatek Dimensity 700 processor, 8GB of RAM and the Mali G57-MC2 video core will please thrifty gamers with the successful launch of many, if not all, modern games. The most resource-intensive Genshin Impact and Fortnite will not be included in the list of playable projects, because even lowering the graphics settings to a low level will not save you from lags. The chipset does not have high power consumption, so the 5000mAh battery will last for a day and a half of active use of the mobile assistant. Applications, music and videos can be stored on 128/256GB ROM or MicroSD cards .
13-, 5- and 2-megapixel photomodules will appeal to exceptionally unpretentious photographers. Most of the shots have pronounced flaws even in not the worst lighting. Either small objects come out blurry, or noise “eats” part of the detail. Sensors sometimes make mistakes in color reproduction. There is no stereo sound, but for music lovers they still have a surprise in store, namely a dedicated audio jack. Support for 5G networks does not exactly make the device worse, however, unpretentious photo capabilities, mediocre sound, lack of NFC and other problems significantly reduce the attractiveness of an Android smartphone.
