Honor X60 Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Honor X60 Overview
Honor X60 - inexpensive, but decent
It seems that the Chinese company Honor has finally learned how to make truly competitive smartphones in the mid-price category. If earlier such phones were very compromised, then the hero of today's review came out very balanced and quite technological for its cost.
The appearance of the new product pleases the eye. Of course, getting a reasonable cost price was not without simplifications. So, the case is made of plastic, although it does not collect fingerprints and scratches in a split second. Black matte texture or marble stylization of the green and white versions look great, transform the exterior and the side fingerprint scanner, and the current design of the camera, and relatively thin screen frames. The 6.8-inch display is created using LTPS technology (improved IPS), which has a positive effect on peak brightness. Almost 1000 nits is enough to maintain partial visibility of the image in direct sunlight. The resolution of 2412x1080 pixels is enough for image clarity, and there is no lack of smoothness at a 120 Hz refresh rate. Color rendition is close to natural.
The technical characteristics include the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 CPU with 5G network support, 8 GB / 12 GB RAM and the IMG BXM-8-256 video core. The bundle is not often found in Android devices yet, but has already proven itself on the good side thanks to its performance of 500 thousand points in the AnTuTu benchmark, good energy efficiency. Gamers will be able to immerse themselves in the huge and at the same time insanely beautiful worlds of Zenless Zone Zero and Genshin Impact with low-medium graphics presets and a stable framerate. And from the impressive 5800 mAh battery, you can expect more than 9-10 hours of active screen time. Fast charging at 35W will allow you to reach full capacity in about 90 minutes. The permanent memory can be from 128 to 512 GB depending on the configuration of the phablet, there is no slot for MicroSD cards.
Perhaps the first traces of real savings can be found in the photographic capabilities of the unit. There are no auxiliary sensors, and the main 108-megapixel photo module from Samsung does not have optical stabilization. This fact has almost no effect on the detail and transmission of daytime photos, but evening shots are filled with noise and blur. There are no stereo speakers, as well as a separate headphone jack. But what is really upsetting is the lack of contactless payments NFC and FDD-LTE B7. The device will be released outside of China for now, so the set of 4G frequencies is not quite suitable for Europe and the CIS. However, the gadget still turned out to be extremely interesting for its price tag. We are waiting for its international variation.
