IIIF150 Action 15 Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
IIIF150 Action 15 Overview
The IIIF150 Action 15 is a great idea with mediocre execution.
Every year, the smartphone market becomes increasingly demanding, even for the most affordable smartphones. Today, even affordable phones with IP68 water resistance expect not just standard functionality, but also a pleasing design, good battery life, and unique competitive advantages. Today's review subject strives to live up to this profile, but the results are poor.
The new device's appearance is more than presentable. While the display bezels are relatively wide, the placement of the 8-megapixel front-facing camera is modern, the case colors are attractive, the side-mounted fingerprint scanner is convenient, the stylish camera module, and the secondary touchscreen for notifications and selfie assistance all look impressive. The same cannot be said for the main 6.67-inch IPS panel. It clearly lacks image clarity at HD+ resolution, causing small fonts to sometimes appear blurry or blurry. Peak brightness is also low, but color reproduction and content smoothness (90 Hz refresh rate) are excellent.
The specifications include a Mediatek Helio G81 CPU, 6 GB of RAM, and a Mali G52MC2 GPU. This combination isn't particularly powerful, and is sufficient only for the more or less stable operation of the Android OS. Apps often launch with noticeable lag, and smooth gameplay in resource-intensive games is virtually impossible. The developer has generously included 256 GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot. However, it's unclear what to store on this internal storage. The battery capacity has been increased to 5100 mAh, so you can expect approximately 9-10 hours of active screen time. However, the device doesn't have fast charging.
The photo capabilities of the main 48- and 0.08-megapixel cameras are only slightly better than the basic ones. They'll capture text and static objects during the day, but dynamic scenes or poor lighting will result in a lot of noise and blur. There are no stereo speakers, and for some reason, there's no NFC contactless payment feature. Thus, this is a unique, yet flawed, device that can't be recommended.
