Releasing a simplified version of a smartphone is a great idea if the original unit was competitive and popular enough. Such a sound idea also came to the Chinese sub-brand of the company Oukitel with a peculiar name. However, the developer decided to cut the parameters of the model too much, which is why its relevance fell almost to zero.

The appearance of the new product is its strongest side. For a low-price phone with moisture protection according to IP68 standards, it has a very well-designed exterior, represented by an original block of two photo modules, a convenient side fingerprint scanner, a modern design of an 8-megapixel selfie camera, an extremely interesting texture of the rubberized back panel. However, the wide display frames and the huge thickness of the case are in place. But the IPS panel used is not pleasing. The HD+ resolution is not enough for image clarity with an almost 7-inch diagonal, the peak brightness barely exceeds 500 nits, so direct sunlight has a negative effect on image visibility. There is also no increased content refresh rate, but at least there are no problems with the naturalness of color rendition.

The technical characteristics have noticeably lost in performance. The UNISOC Tiger T606 processor is noticeably weaker than the MediaTek Helio G99, together with 4 GB of RAM and the Mali G57MC1 video adapter, the chipset barely copes with the Android 14 interface and not the most resource-intensive 3D games like World Of Tanks Blitz. It is better not to think about launching projects like Genshin Impact. But the energy efficiency of the CPU is excellent, which increases the autonomy of the 5500 mAh battery. The battery will last for a couple of days, but you need to spend almost three hours at the outlet due to the modest charging power of 10 W. The 128GB of storage can be expanded with MicroSD cards.

The photographic capabilities have also been cut, and significantly so. The main 16- and 0.08-megapixel cameras are not always suitable even for daytime shooting, providing shots with mediocre detail, noise and blur. There is no stereo sound or headphone output. Music lovers are unlikely to be satisfied with this fact. Even contactless NFC payment has disappeared. Thus, we have a controversial representative of its class, capable of attracting a buyer solely with durability and appearance.
