Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ Overview
Infinix Hot 60 Pro+ - fine work
What competitive advantages should a mid-range smartphone have for potential buyers to pay attention to it? Each manufacturer will have its own answer to this question. The Chinese company Infinix decided that the hero of today's review would be distinguished from its opponents neither by its cameras nor by its performance, but by something else.
The appearance of the new product is definitely memorable. First of all, the thickness of the case with water protection according to IP65 standards, which the developer placed special emphasis on, catches the eye. It does not even reach six millimeters, which is why the phone acquires fantastic ergonomics. Of course, very narrow screen frames and the modest weight of the monoblock also help to achieve this effect. The various colors of the rear panels, the current format of the triple camera, and the in-screen fingerprint scanner also make the exterior more attractive. The 6.78-inch AMOLED display deserves only praise. It combines high definition of the image due to the resolution of 2720 x 1224 pixels, its smoothness at the top refresh rate of 144 Hz, impressive peak brightness of almost 5000 nits, a minimum of visible errors in color rendering.
But the emphasis was clearly not placed on technical characteristics. The latest MediaTek Helio G200 CPU literally copies the previously released G99 / G100 in its parameters, so even with 8 GB of RAM and a Mali G57-MC2 video accelerator, they do not show outstanding gaming capabilities. Genshin Impact, Fortnite, Zenless Zone Zero and projects with similar resource intensity will be playable only with low-medium graphics presets. On the other hand, applications launch almost instantly, and Android 15 is not replete with numerous lags. The 5160 mAh battery could barely fit in the ultra-thin device. Autonomy, therefore, cannot be criticized, because we get about 8-9 hours of active screen time. Fast wired charging received a decent power of 45W, but there is no wireless analog. 128/256 GB of permanent memory is allocated, there is no slot for MicroSD cards.
The photo capabilities of the device are somewhat better than those of its brother without the Plus index. If the auxiliary sensors are still close to the title of useless, then the main 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 module with hybrid stabilization is competitive. During the day, it is very easy to capture a detailed photo without artifacts, and evening shots in most cases will be good. Stereo sound is simple, there is little bass, the frequency response is uneven, increasing the volume affects the level of distortion. Contactless payments NFC are present, shopping in supermarkets will be comfortable. Overall, the device evokes rather positive emotions, but it is unlikely to become a hit due to its not particularly impressive chipset, lack of a telephoto lens and other things that a modern audience really needs.
