Infinix Hot 70 Pro Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Infinix Hot 70 Pro Overview
Infinix Hot 70 Pro – Evolution in Plain Sight
The Chinese company Infinix is gaining more and more fans worldwide. While the manufacturer still lags behind market leaders in software refinement and overall product quality, the gap is gradually closing. Compared to its predecessors and even competitors, today's review subject offers not only a very affordable price tag but also good performance for its class, as well as 5G support.
The new device's appearance is quite attractive. The vertical triple-camera unit, flush with the body, blends harmoniously with the high-quality polycarbonate, the variety of color options, and the thin display bezels with a built-in fingerprint scanner. The 6.78-inch AMOLED panel has earned numerous compliments. It boasts an excellent 2720x1224 resolution, crisp, smooth content at a refresh rate of 120 Hz, excellent 2000 nit brightness, and realistic color reproduction. There's nothing to complain about.
The technical specifications have also been slightly improved. The combination of a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 processor, 6GB/8GB of RAM, and an IMG BXM-8-256 graphics adapter reduces lag in Android 17 and allows for stable gameplay at low graphics settings. There's no throttling or excessive heating of the chipset. The battery capacity has been increased to 5500 mAh, resulting in a respectable 8-10 hours of screen-on time. Wireless charging is no longer available, but there is a wired charger with a 45W output. Internal storage is available with 128 or 256GB, both sizes expandable via MicroSD cards.
Photography features remain largely unchanged. The main 50-megapixel sensor without optical image stabilization isn't terrible, but it's suitable for document captures or daytime artistic photo shoots. However, at night, the sensor isn't at its best, as images are prone to blur and noise. Stereo sound is present, though not particularly loud or balanced. NFC contactless payments and partial, but at least some, water resistance (IP64 standard) round out the list of advantages of this interesting device, deserving of attention.
