Infinix Note 50x 5G+ Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Infinix Note 50x 5G+ Overview
Infinix Note 50x 5G+ - an inexpensive solution for gamers
The Chinese company Infinix is getting closer to winning the hearts of tens of millions of users around the world. Thus, the manufacturer steadily releases more and more balanced and technological gadgets from its conveyor belt, regardless of their price category. The hero of today's review, for example, causes genuine delight if you look at its price and technical characteristics.
The appearance of the new product is memorable and original, although there are a number of controversial points. The main one is the design of the photo module block, which may not suit the taste of some buyers. But the colors of the cases made of high-quality polycarbonate, a convenient side fingerprint scanner, and relatively thin display frames will please everyone. Unfortunately, these words no longer apply to the 6.67-inch IPS panel. The low brightness reserve makes it difficult to work with the mobile assistant in direct sunlight, and the resolution of 1600x720 pixels is not very suitable for the selected diagonal. The picture is not super sharp, but the smoothness at a 120-Hz refresh rate and realistic color rendition do not allow us to give a completely negative assessment of the screen.
The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor is a very productive chipset, scoring more than 700 thousand points in the AnTuTu test. 8 GB of RAM and the Mali G615MC2 video accelerator reveal the full potential of the CPU in modern games. Extremely resource-intensive projects like Genshin Impact, Wreckfest and Fortnite function smoothly at medium-high graphics settings. The energy-efficient chip does not heat up much, throttling is almost not noticeable. The battery of 5200 mAh is responsible for autonomy, which allows us to hope for 9-10 hours of active screen time. Fast charging is also available, 45W - excellent power for the price segment. 256 GB of permanent memory is allocated, there is no slot for MicroSD cards.
Where the developer really saved is in the area of the gadget's photo capabilities. The 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 sensor and 2-megapixel portrait module lack optical stabilization and are capable of a more or less detailed frame without an abundance of artifacts only during the day. And even then, sometimes you will have to do several takes. There is no stereo sound, and you will not be able to find a jack for wired headphones. Music lovers need to use wireless headsets. But there is contactless payment NFC, and support for 5G networks, and moisture protection, albeit according to IP64 standards. As a result, we have before us a powerful and stylish phablet that is worth every penny in its price tag.
