Infinix Note 60 Ultra Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Infinix Note 60 Ultra Overview
Infinix Note 60 Ultra – Originality in Every Detail
It's extremely difficult to impress a modern mobile electronics enthusiast. While a few years ago, the addition of a powerful processor or a large battery to a mid-range smartphone would have thrilled buyers, today such features are considered the norm. But it seems the Chinese company Infinix has found a way to captivate its audience.
The new device's appearance is stunning. The sports car-inspired design of the backlit photo module housing a trendy matrix display, the beautiful case colors with a variety of textures, the metal frame, and the barely noticeable display bezels with an integrated fingerprint scanner all look impeccable. Not every flagship can boast such an exterior. The 6.78-inch AMOLED display boasts a resolution of 2644x1208 pixels, which is quite sufficient for such a large screen. A top-end 144Hz refresh rate, excellent peak brightness of 4500 nits, natural color reproduction, and an oleophobic coating complete the positive impression of the AMOLED panel.
The technical specifications include a MediaTek Dimensity 8400 CPU, 12GB of RAM, and a Mali G720-MC7 GPU. This combination provides sufficient performance for any task, scoring around 1,800,000 points in the AnTuTu benchmark. The Android 16 interface runs smoothly, and all resource-intensive games run smoothly at high graphics settings. Surprisingly, this ergonomic and relatively thin all-in-one PC boasts a whopping 7,000mAh battery. It delivers 10-12 hours of active screen time, and 50W wireless charging is complemented by a 100W wired charging option. The built-in storage is 256GB, with no microSD card slot.
The camera capabilities are impressive. The only weak point is the modest 8-megapixel wide-angle lens. However, the main 200-megapixel camera module from Samsung and the periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom feature hybrid image stabilization and produce highly detailed photos and videos in any lighting conditions. Of course, blur and noise are inevitable in particularly dynamic scenes, but they are not numerous. Loud stereo sound, an IR port for controlling home appliances, NFC contactless payments, eSIM and 5G support round out the device's list of advantages. It's a shame it lacks IP68 water resistance. However, even without it, the device has every chance of being commercially successful.
