Meiigoo S8 - a phablet for lovers of a good style

The audience of the smartphone market definitely likes beautiful things. Though young, but very ambitious company Meiigoo perfectly understands this fact. And so the hero of today's review is ready in terms of the appearance to compete with many flagships! But is everything good with his other parameters?

If we talk about a "hardware", then it is difficult to give an unambiguous answer. Eight cores of the Mediatek MT6750T processor can not cope with the latest games even on average graphics settings, and 4GB of RAM, coupled with the Mali T860 MP2 video accelerator are not able to help in full. But the storage of music and film collections will not be a problem for 64GB of ROM and MicroSD cards up to 256GB.

Let's turn to the exterior of the gadget. The 6.1-inches screen, covered with a curved glass, a fingerprint sensor, a stylishly designed double camera will not leave indifferent even the extremely fastidious buyer. The display is made by using the OGS-technology, it has not the highest resolution at 1440x720 pixels, but it is enough for a high-qualitative picture. A non-record detailization is compensated in terms of brightness and contrast and low power consumption of the panel. From the battery at 3300mAh it's reasonable to expect quite good 6-7 hours of active screen time.

The 13-megapixel rear camera, auxiliary and front 8-megapixel photo modules - a set that we do not always get from more expensive devices. The pictures are saturated and have natural color rendition. In addition, the device is not deprived of such a list of advantages as Android Nougat, LTE, OTG, a USB Type-C port. Thus, although the device does not impress imagination with its manufacturability, it will definitely attract the attention of people around and will be a worthy mobile assistant not for one year.
