Meizu 17T Review: specs and features, camera quality test, gaming benchmark, user opinions and photos
Meizu 17T Overview
Meizu 17T - boring game
The Chinese company Meizu, although considered by many people as Schrodinger Corporation, is still showing more and more signs of life. So, the manufacturer decided to release a whole line of flagships for every taste and budget. The hero of this review is aimed at economical gamers who want to get an inexpensive, productive, beautiful and functional device. Unfortunately, with the last parameter, not everything is so simple.
The design of the novelty actually repeats the concept of "older brothers", but the case is made of polycarbonate, which negatively affects the perception of the device. The original appearance of the four PV modules, rare for AMOLED -panels frontalka- "island" and vnutriekrannyfingerprint reader, of course, increase the attractiveness, but get rid of the feeling of saving on hard materials. The 6.7-inchAMOLED display deserves a compliment. DC Dimmimg technology to get rid of the PWM effect harmful to the eyes, the sixth generation Gorilla Glass with excellent oleophobic coating, excellent brightness and contrast are unlikely to upset any of the buyers.
Specifications also did not disappoint. The top- end Qualcomm Snapdragon865processor, 6GB / 8GB ofRAM and the Adreno650 video accelerator are perfect in demanding games with maximum graphics settings, except that the opponents have more heat than that due to poorly heat-removing plastic. 128 / 256GB are allocated for internal storage, no expansion of ROM by cards is provided.
The main 64-, 8-, 5- and 2-megapixel cameras, headed by the Samsung GW1 sensor, do not pull on the title of "flagship". Evening photos lose in detail, noise is visible, and it’s quite possible to get lubrication. There are fewer complaints about the 20-megapixel front module; selfies come out detailed and clear. The battery capacity was already 5000mAh , which allows you to forget about recharging for a couple of days. A number of critical shortcomings are replenished by the absence of contactless payments (NFC) and the extremely peculiar interface of the FlymeOS shell, the updating of which will not have to wait. Thus, the device does not fully justify its price tag and in many ways loses to analogues with the same hardware.
